Is it true that receptive houses like the 2th, 4th and 8th can create a dependence for the house person if primarily activated?Would having three planets there be able to primarily activate the houses, or the significance of the effect would depend on the planets? I'm assuming the Moon, Sun and Venus in one of them would have a much more profound effect than Uranus, Neptune and say, Mercury. IP: Logged |

Yes, espeically if a person overlays your water houses 4th, 8th and 12th house, you may be profoundly and very deeply touched, which could (but not definitely will) trigger some feelings of dependency.I also think the 7th house is an important one in this regard, even though it is not a receptive house, it shows what you are attracted to. Also overlays in the 5th house could be very romantic. But all in all planets in the 4th and 8th especially can be VERY emotional to you. And I think the most important planets in those houses would be Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, ASC and ruler of ASC. Apart from that I always take note on which houses a significant synastric aspect happens. For example: If there is a square of a synastric Mars-Pluto conjunction to one person`s Venus and those planets overlay the 5th and 8th house of one person, I DEFINITELY would think about it, even if I ussually don`t pay much attention to the Pluto-overlays. Hmm, it's ironic what you said about the 5th house because I always perceived it as a very superficial overlay. And it seems like most descriptions tend to suggest that having your planets in a partner's 5th house means you're not perceived in a serious way.IP: Logged | |
