DepT I have to agree with you on this one. It has been retrograding over my NN at 16 Virgo! lol But it has been a time of defining my higher purpose in this lifeline, and getting work on implementing those energies. And I must say spiritually I have grown 10 fold..and have attracted some wonderful souls into my life....but the retrograde has brought up every possible Karmic situation that I feel I have encountered in this life line...the healing of these was essential and I am grateful...but gees! Enough already! lol How has it affected you guys? ------------------

I have no idea, I think I felt Saturn less while it was Rx or something. What was supposed to happen when it was Rx?IP: Logged |

It’s been transiting my mercury ruled 5th house for what seems like forever. My progressed IC and progressed Mercury are conjunct at 15 Virgo. The lessons I must say have been relentless. Sure I’ve learnt a lot, its been painful but necessary …blah..blah… but when that crotchety old stuffed shirt takes a hike I’m going to heave a big sigh or relief.

MVM- To me when a planet goes retrograde its influence is accentuated, and the processes of life that that particular planet governs become stalled. In which case we have to give extra attention to those processes and perfect them, in a way we otherwise would not have. I would think that it has influenced even heavier the things that Pluto in Capricorn has brought to our attention. Helping us deal more profeciently with our pass life Karmas, by forcing us to deal with our present lifeline Karmic situations. So it will affect us all quite differently of course. For me it has been a time of turning inward, during which "surface" issues have lessoned in importance, and I have gone into my own Psychic space clearing out alot of the left over sludge from my own life, ecountering the quiet "dark" of my soul and discovering energies that exist beyond my egos control. It has been quite and journey and I have learned much. But that is what Saturn does, he is masterful teacher of lessons well learned. Saturn depresses but also establishes. So the second half of the equation is finding a way to give shape to the images, the insights we encounter in Saturn's gloom-world. Once freed that energy can then be used to create and give substance istead of depress and give life to the harsh world of our inner critic. I can't imagine you havent in some way been affected by this energy. IP: Logged |

OneRuled....for sure I have been feeling a lot of Saturn's influence since it's been conjunct my sun in transit! But since it's gone Rx I guess I've kind of stopped hating on Saturn so much, and have felt a very strange sense of peace and strength (maybe it's been the internal process)...so things have felt kind of quiet during this time, less restrictive, and not really depressing so much as solid. I also have Uranus opposing my Sun now too, so it's like learning new ways to deal with stuff as well....I feel this has been an interesting time definitely....integrating growth in a new way. I've never felt so in charge of my own life before. Maybe this is why I'm no longer hating Saturn so much as having a lot of respect (Boy, I never thought I'd ever say such things, but there it is)I have no idea what will happen once it goes direct. There's some major changes which been seething the past few months and are about to break out in the open in the next few weeks. Let's hope it's all good LOL.

Transiting Retrograde Saturn in my 1st has definitely been significant for me because it's in applying conjunction of my Ascendant in 13'26 Virgo and in applying contraparallel to my Moon in 8'31 South. It's been a time of personal responsibility and personal reflection as well as realizing my life purpose after talking to Anne Angelheart who told me that I am meant to work with Indigo,Crystal children, my wanting to form a nonprofit neurodiversity organization in the future, and my seeing a shaman healer for healing work on me,started going to Spiritual Life Center, getting into Eckhart Tolle's teachings, and working on getting over my exgf. I had a lunar return on the New Year's Eve when Saturn went stationary direct sextile my 2nd/9th house ruler Venus in 21'47 Scorpio with 1 minute of arc. It was in 1st house in the lunar return. My next lunar return is on May 17th with Saturn stationary direct in 1st house contraparallel Moon with 1 minute of arc and parallel Ascendant with 49 minutes of arc. That indicates a significant lunar return period. May 16th is day of my Unity/New Thought principles class which is step 1 towards being a member of Spiritual Life Center. May 30th is the day of new member orientation, and that is step 2 towards being a member. May 31st is Pentecost and the day that I will be introduced as a member. May 29th thru May 31st is the Children Of The New Earth conference which is presented by the church along with East West Books and Blue Gaia. I have never been a member of any spiritual organization before. It's definitely a significant time for me.
my mom's partner died on March 30th (the birthday of my exgf and my shaman healer!...my mom's unknown biological mother's birthday is Mach 29th),and that's a big change for my mother. Right now, she's staying in a convalescent home because of Diabetes. I gave her 400 dollars last month to help her out. As her only child, I have responsibility and obligation to help her out. That's what my natal Moon square Saturn shows. I am going to give her money to help her with deposit for her to get low income housing for disabled. Raymond

Hmm, now it will move on to squaring my Sun and Mercury on 26 SAgittarius, later on squaring my Venus on 6 Capricorn and conjunct my Pluto on 9 Libra. Not sure I am really looking forward to it. But then again I already survived the squares from Saturn to my Mars, Neptune, ASC and NN and the quinkunx to Moon and Chiron, even though the one to Chiron is not over yet.

Yippee! And finally!!!Saturn is conjunct my Venus/Uranus/Pluto stellium in the 5th house by 0-2* oneruledbymars - it's interesting that you say it's been a time of defining your higher purpose. That's fantastic you have used Saturn's energy and lessons to direct your journey. I've had to 'prune' my family. I've seen this also as a half-Saturn return. In my Saturn return, I had to 'prune' people from my life as well. I almost pruned my partner out, but for some reason we just stick together. Work threw a horrific curve-ball at me, that will stay for a very long time. My balloon was certainly burst in my workplace (my sanctuary and place where I flourish - it usually works for my stellium being in the 5th house of children). I feel like a lot of innocence had been trimmed away leaving a slightly anxious knowflake coming to terms with sudden changes/insults and revelations about the people around me. In writing this, the word 'safety' has come up for me. Feeling safe is my most important feelings - and I think my wheat and chaff has been sorted to show me where I can feel safe and where I don't feel safe. Saturn certainly is a sombre eye-opener. MVM- Lol. So you took the energy and integrated, just as I did. In short Saturn doesnt seem so bad huh. It made me pull my head out the sand too...and you are right if I can sum it up with one word it would now be respect as well. Whats funny is that it also retrograded over my Angel Asteroid, making sure I payed attention to my higher purpose! lol Change is always good MVM, especially when it comes after Saturns heavy hand of discipline, that change could be sprinkled with all kind of rewards for your growth. So forget hoping, I know its going to be good. *wink*Glaucus: Sounds like you had alot going on too. How has the work with Crystal and Indigo children been going? What does it entail? DD: Hey! Miss you! Looks like you will have some Saturn stories to share soon!
Koiflower: I have and boy has it been a roller coaster. I had 2 choices, depression or integration. And and Aries Sun and Mars never chooses depression! lol Sounds like you have been doing some serious pruning. But thats good. Makes way for new healthy shoots to blossum, completely revitalizing the tree. Your "Spring" should be glorious! Sombre eye opener that Saturn is, He definitely has his place amongst the Divine Energy that influences our lives on Earth. ------------------

Saturn is sextile my Scorp stellium right now, so not such a bad thing. It will be nice to have Saturn go direct so that I can actually have my exact Saturn Return in August! I keep finding myself saying, "Well, let's just get on with it already!" IP: Logged |

I personally can't wait for this. Doesn't help that the retrograde has GREATLY prolonged my situation of Saturn Square Saturn (17deg Sag). Some of the most defining moments of my life have occurred during this period, however it's becoming tense now and I foresee it may become even more tense as Saturn moves into a complete Square with mine... I'm finding it hard to enjoy myself. Let me put it that way. I understand the process is necessary and necessarily painful, too, however is it premature for me to say 'I'm over it!'? Seriously. I've had a SatSQSat (within 5deg orb) for the better part of eight to nine months now, and this situation will be continuing until August! IP: Logged |
