I'm very confused at the moment. I've mentioned before that for 18 months I’ve been struggling to get my career off the ground. After being fired from a role in late 2007, I’ve been temping ever since in really boring and de-motivating short term jobs. I thought this would end once jupiter left my 6th house in February, but it's still continuing and my new temp job is the worst one so far but I had to take it so I could pay the rent.

Because of the present economic climate, I’ve been unable to find the right permanent job, so I’m wondering whether it's better to take a pay cut to secure a permanent role. I really want stability now. There are more jobs at 10k less than the salary I’m ideally looking for. Then I'm thinking that later on I can start my job hunt again, looking for another permanent position that's better paid. At least time will be on my side and I won't have to worry what I'll be doing in three months time like I do with these temp jobs.

Looking at my chart, do you think I will need to take that step backwards (i.e. get a job that is lower paid with fewer responsibilities) in order to make that leap forward some time in the future? Also when do you reckon that some time in the future is likely to be? When would I be able to climb back up the career ladder? Saturn retro in the 2nd house is making my mind fuzzier and fuzzier and I'm just not sure what to do anymore.

Thanks once again

Your chart has expired.

But without looking at it I'd say take the permanent role if you can still pay the bills with it. Then you have the stability you are looking for and hopefully a more interesting time at work. It's more likely you will be able to get a promotion in that situation.
