I've read various descriptions of the aspect and almost all of them seem to conclude in one way or another that the Moon person is the victim in the relationship and that the Sun owner 'attacks' the nature of the Moon person by acting in an insensitive way or possibly by rejecting the feminine qualities of the Moon. The descriptions also indicate that the Moon person might be hypersensitive to the Sun and as a result might perceive the Sun as domineering, authoritative and aggressive.Do you find the descriptions accurate in regards to the role of the 'victim' in the interaction? Can the roles be reversed? Or is astrology just seeing it all from a stereotypical perspective concerning gender and there is really no attacker in the relationship? Can this be seen as a major indication of incompatibility considering that it would indicate that the basic natures of the people involved are in conflict? And putting gender issues aside, would they take on the specific roles of the planets (feminine and masculine)?

I think it depends on all of the synastry...I have sun sq sun & sun sq moon with someone and it doesn't really affect us because we have other considerably important things to make up for it.For example even though we have these squares, my sun/moon midpoint conjuncts his sun very tightly. We also have sun conjunct asc, but if there aren't things to make up for it, then yea I'd say the two are incompatible and will be annoyed by each other. I think the victim would be whoever has the negative aspects in the chart..say if the moon person has opp to saturn or something. Or the sun conjunct saturn. However I'm quite sure they would equally affect each other with no exceptions.
