Has anyone used progressed composite charts and felt that they reflected a relationship more than the usual composite chart?

I always feel the regular composite but the progressed gives me a better idea of where we are at the moment and how we are moving. I always feel the composite more.

For some reason I don't really feel the regular composite, just the progressed one, or it makes more sense to me. Do you think composite charts don't really go into effect until you've been with someone for a while, maybe just sticking with synastry will be less complicated?

When I met my guy, the P composite sun was exactly conjunct the ruler of his first house (venus) & seventh house (mars), and my SN.

I think that the closer you are with someone, the more the composite aspects will be revealed. For example, if you are just simple friends with someone, there are some composite aspects that wouldn't really seem noticeable. But if you share a close relationship with this person for some time, all the composite aspects would become more noticeable.

Thanks Comica, you answered my question! Now I have another one, do think that when you first get to know someone synastry is more obvious than the composite chart?

Good question.

I say composite. 2 people meet and the composite becomes one. The composite ASC will describe that meeting. Without knowing each other much, no actions to indicate the good or bad synastry.

That makes sense, my composite involves Libra Asc. with Venus in Cancer located in the 9th house. There was a sense of a philosophical air with a familiarity and general likeability. Mars also opposes the Asc. so right away physical activity was a priority, like dancing!
