What is your experience with this aspect in synastry? Is it really as unstable as its usually made out to be? O__o

Well I know based on the time of year he was born (yes, I was too lazy to get his birth data around the time I worked with him last year ^__^), we definitely have this aspect and his saturn trining my sun and mars. Everything else is up in the air.

I'm certainly not surprised we have this venus/uranus aspect given how sudden the attraction was, the differences in our backgrounds, and everything else about this damn association.

Meh, I need to stop running into him....maybe then I'll forget about him. O__o I must say though that even with instability, I like the feeling of uranus opposing my venus in contrast to saturn opposing it.

call me crazy, but i prefer venus opposite saturn over uranus..lol I like depth, apparently. Everything is up in the air? get use to it! I have someone's saturn conj my sun, and uranus squares my venus and ASC, and um......lets just say were going nowhere fast..so not even saturn helps too much but least with saturn aspects he will keep coming back

Uranus/Venus is hot, girl! All electric.
And then you have weird things in common:
'Oh, I love to drink mochas that've been sitting in my car for 8,000 days!'
'OMG, you too? I thought I was the only one!'

Like that. I think it makes people have weird things in common.

I totally know what you're talking about MVM, it is sooooo electric. There are some weird things we have in common, I guess that would make up for the fact that we like nothing *usual* in common.

Hmmm, I'm pondering the depth part but I still feel a little more appreciated in the uranus opposition than the saturn one. Like I can 'express' my venus without harsh disapproval. I feel so much more.....FREE.

haha okay, maybe depth was the wrong word. I guess I like binding relationships more than relationships where I dont feel special in some way. Uranus connections feel impersonal. Pluto is progressed in my 7th, can you tell? lol

I think Venus/Uranus causes a "I love you" feeling, fairly quickly, but "ugh go away" feeling just as fast. Emotions shared together are not stable. I think its lovely and nice if you arent looking for the one, and just wanna have fun and be friends.

I thought Uranus was all about friendships. All this time I thought a well aspected Uranus in synastry ment you had friendly feelings for eachother and that it was not all, "Omg I love you!" but more like "Omg we can be such besties!!!!!!!".

I guess I am tripping lol. Though I should take a look at Uranus in synastry between my friends.

Also what of Jupiter?

I have Venus square Uranus with a dude (vertex dude) and we have the exact same taste in music. Like my music taste is weird enough (Mariah Carey, Black Eyes, Black Dahlia Murder & M83), but his ipod and mine match up PERFECTLY. He's also the first person that I could tell internet jokes to (like memes from 4chan, it's not that special anymore since 4chan is everywhere now).

This aspect can be good or bad depending on the other synastry aspects. I never count just one aspect to predict the fate of a relationship. It takes more than that....

LMAO, Amowls! I'm totally gonna have to do that Ipod test with my dude in question...I will ROFL if our songs match up perfectly since my taste is pretty strange too. ^__^

And LOL, Writes...my feelings always fluctuate no matter what, but I do remember how we became distant from eachother for a while due to a little fall out at work but we are okay now as friends. I wouldn't say the attachment is unstable but I did go to great efforts to suppress it (and ultimately failed). I guess that's uranus for you, though. haha

I just dug up the synastry of a Taurus and Capricorn I know who have this aspect almost exact...along with a mars/uranus square They've been together almost 6 years now, though it has not been a smooth ride (they've broken up twice in that time). I'm not trying to create any false hope or anything but I guess it really is what you make of it. I probably shouldn't push anything now anyways seeing as we both have alot of things to do this summer....and I have an impending trip. But we shall see!

I think my mommy and stepdad have Venus-Uranus opposition in their composite and they've been married like 25 years.

Mars/Uranus is sexy, but Uranus knows how to tick off the Mars person. But for chemistry...MEOW.

Yeah, I had the mars/uranus square with my ex and I can definitely see it in the couple I mentioned above. With my ex, his mars was in virgo and while he seemed to be pretty spontaneous person (sag stellium)....everything was actually very premeditated. It was scary weird! So when I did certain things on a whim and ended up messing up things, he did get mad...LOL. But yeah, the chemistry = WOWSERS. I don't know why uranus is so underrated compared to pluto in this arena. Maybe because its much more erratic in comparision....I know my ex saw me as scattered (and vice versa :P), just as I see this guy I'm attached to right now, hahaha.

*edit* LOL, I just remembered I have mars/uranus square natally. No wonder things played out how they did...

MVM do u think that aspect in composite has the same value as in the synastry?
i could take 25 years w him.. but hell that uranus would really tick off my poor mars..
