I thought it was really interesting that I was attracted to someone who I thought I had seemingly little in common with in astrological terms. I'm referring to Gedeon Burkhard from Inspector Rex fame. I've taken a liking to him by watching Inspector Rex. Oddly, he reminds me of Mr 23. But unfortunately with age his lost a bit of the spunk. DD what's the goss on him?Our charts have minimal planetary connection showing attraction (except his Pluto square my Venus) or any connections for the record! Then...hello.....I looked at some asteroids and I've never had a DW of Eros-Psyche with anyone. Both aspects conjunct and EXACT to the degree. Astrology is amazing! IP: Logged |

Yeah, I don't know his ASC of course. He looks like a Sag rising in the photo above but in all the other photos and on TV he looks like a Cap rising to me at times. High forehead points to mutability you'd think. Mr 23 is a Cap rising. I'm Aries rising myself but have my Sun opp Saturn in the 10th, hence the liking for a bit of Saturn. IP: Logged |

In my personal experience, I find house overlays extremely important in the synastry of attraction. Without an exact birthtime, you can probably tell where his slow-moving planets fall in your houses, but a wrong birthtime can mean you don't know which of your houses his Sun falls in, let alone his Moon. Also, I think in-person chemistry is crucial. When we watch celebrities, we are inescapably responding to an image that they put out to the general population. Even if that image is very true to their inner personality, it doesn't give us an accurate gauge of the dynamics we would have with them if we were spending real, in-person, equal time together. When you are watching a stranger on TV, if he/she is being him/herself rather than playing a character, you're likely seeing a combination of their Ascendent and Sun--and not getting any idea whatsoever of what the real personal chemistry between you would be like. In my line of work I've gotten to meet quite a few people in the entertainment industry who I had crushes on when I was a kid. With one (a Leo Sun like me), I was surprised to find that in person I just felt a brother-sister/friend type connection to him. This was someone who fueled my teenage fantasies bigtime. In person, he was just as good looking as I thought, but the zingy chemistry spark wasn't there, which stunned me. With another guy (an actor with Capricorn Sun, Libra Rising) I never found him that hot watching his films, but when we met we were like, WE WANT TO MAKE OUT, and we dated for a little while. (It did not end too well, lol.) But the point is, seeing a stranger on TV or in still photos is totally unlike meeting and hanging out with them. It's weird, with all this meeting over the internet business, people seem to be moving further away from real, in-person relationships where you sleep holding each other every night. But I still think an attraction felt for someone you've never met in person is more about images and ideas than real human lust or emotions. AND I think without mutual chemistry activated, you can have a heavy-duty compatible synastry and it doesn't mean anything.

Lucia - I think overall you are right. I can think of famous people I have met and was not drawn to on TV but was so in real life and vice-versa. The aura is very different to what you imagine from media. Usually only the face is the same but the body is different, as are movements, expressions etc.As for the above mentioned person, hard to say as with all the others if there would be chemistry or not. For me, I'm attracted to him because he reminds me of Mr 23. I think some of that physicality might still persist in reality but when he opens his mouth, it might be a different thing. Anyway, seems to be a heavy smoker, so that ain't impressive for me... For me, I was a bit stunned by the DW that I have with him. With famous people I like, the aspects are always so wide and wishy-washy, this is like ka-boom two times. i just never thought the DW could happen to me because I've looked up ephemerides before to find the DW with me. Hey Lara! I think this one is Cap rising. Can't think of any sign that really fits him... IP: Logged |
