As further discussion of my PUNC thread posted a couple of months ago, I'd like to delve into the specifics of people who have both a heavy Uranus and Pluto influence in their charts. What are your relationships like? How do you function in society-at-large? Feel free to add anything else you find relevant.

I'll go first. I find that my relationships with other people, be it romantic, family, or work have two distinct patterns. The first scenario is that I am instantly attracted to someone (Uranus) and proceed to try completely overhaul them to my standards(Pluto) OR I have an intense, gradual attraction (Pluto) that ends just as suddenly and to which I could hardly care less (Uranus). The same thing goes for family and work relationships.

As for society at large, well that's a toughy. I truly feel outside of the norms and even when I try to live within those norms something always comes along that pushes me out of them. I have been told many times that I am the friendliest person, but I am just too eccentric, aloof, or intense to fit in.

I feel like society is playing catch-up with me and because I am so far ahead, I am actually behind in society. I truly have the guns of Uranus and the bombs of Pluto.

sounds familiar! hopefully you have come to the point where you don't let the "normans" of the world deflate your sense of self.

i have never tried to remake anyone...pluto for me manifests in intensity of attachment and perseverance. its in my 7th house so i can get pretty obsessive about my nearest and dearest, and have attracted plenty of people who want to remake ME, fat chance!!

as to uranus, which trines my moon and makes a yod with merc/saturn to my asc, improvisation has been the name of my game as long as i can remember. sudden beginnings and endings are commonplace and welcome...and intuition and envelope-pushing characterize my mental processes...

Katatonic,

I used to let everyone deflate my sense of self, but I'm waking up to the fact that no one has that right. Having Sun conjunct Pluto(12th/1st house) and Uranus conjunct Moon (1st house), one of my life lessons is to just be myself no matter what others think of me. However, it is so damn frustrating having the world play catch-up with the things that you thought of (and were totally ignored for) years ago.

The making over part is the negative manifestation of the Sun/Pluto/Ascendant conjunction.

The subject matter that actually brought up this topic for me was when I was reading about Nietzche's chart and its heavy Uranus/Pluto influence and the survivor personality profile spurred on by his "Superman." I am definitely a survivor.

Any other takers for this post?
