Has anyone ever been in a relationship where you really like someone but you always feel like the other person just tops off your admiration by being more overt about it. And then you feel like you never fully express how much you like the person who is more obvious about their admiration. Does this explain differing Venus signs?

I had this with a venus in scorpio person. He was very effusive about his feeling for me and bought me gifts all the time, despite my protests. He was sweet!

Then I dated two other venus scorps who were nothing like that. They were jerks.

This person has Scorpio moon and Cancer Venus besides being a Leo Sun/Asc. so I suppose I really can't top him off, but I'm not complaining!

Well I guess a flamboyant expression of love might be a Leo thing. Generosity itself might be a Sag or even a Libran thing.

As for why you might feel repressed in expressing your affection, it might be your Saturn in synastry with the other person or possible their Venus in your 12th house or something.

I'm always the one doing all the emoting. When I have feelings for someone, everyone knows it. I have no idea how to hide my feelings or stop talking about it. It's kinda frustrating, and it has scared many people off. Sorry I didn't contribute either, I just thought I would tell you the view point from the other side. lol.

I swear I'm always affectionate at times when the other person doesn't feel it, which doesn't make sense to me since my moon is in pisces in the third house, perhaps venus in Gemini really isn't that affectionate, it doesn't help that my venus is located in the 7th and opposing Saturn/Uranus in the 1st in Sag.

I noticed that this persons stationary Saturn in Sag is opposing my natal Venus so this could do with the delay... of being able to top it off!
