yes of course, they really work!someone's ASC in Virgo, 5th HR is Saturn
my ASC in Cap, the 5 HR is Merc his Moon is in the 9th
my Moon is in Sag my dad's Moon in Scorp
my mom has Sun, SN, Merc, Pluto, Uranus, Mars in the 8th my friend has Venus conj Jupiter

yes Draco to Tropical affinities work toomy mom's DSC is in Gemini, my dad's Draco Sun conj it by degree! my brother's Draco ASC falls in Aqua, the sun sign of his wife and her Draco ASC falls in Pisces, his tropical sun sign! and also synastry draco ASC conj tropical ASC is often too IP: Logged |

some people don't count DSC/IC and do not equal them in importance to ASC/MC, I do IP: Logged |

I found a lot of these affinity connections with people that are close to me, but i was especially curious bout the girl, this is what i found:her DC in Sagittarius, i have my moon in Sagittarius, my sun in 9th; so that makes something like sun/AC/DC affinity and moon/AC/DC affinity? her sun in 12th, my AC ruler in 12th, some Pisces sun/AC ruler affinity my AC in Scorpio, her DC ruler in 8th. her sun in Taurus, my moon in 2nd; some moon/sun affinity. my DC ruler in 10th, her DC ruler in Capricorn; if that counts for something. Yeah the aspects affinity is interesting indeed, i agree on the mars and venus affinity as well. It would show the vibes between two people, and probably their romantic nature as well, what they are attracted to.For instance: her venus trine neptune
my venus trine neptune Now that surely shows that our point of view considering love is very neptunian. We expect same kind of dramy love relationship with a partner. We also both approach love with great desires and fantasies, thinkink of love in a very idealistic manner. there is some affinity between pluto and venus in our case as well: her benus opposite pluto
my venus sextile pluto Again similary affected venus. I would say that love has similar effects on us both, we experience it in the same way. IP: Logged |

Well i looked where both our plutos and neptunes are placed.I have my Neptune in 2nd in Sagittarius, her sun and her venus is in taurus, she has DC in Sagittarius. She has her Neptune in her 7th in Capricorn. I have Saturn on my AC and venus in 10th. Then wit pluto its interesting too: My pluto also my AC ruler in 12th, her sun and venus in 12th. Her pluto in Scorpio, my AC in Scorpio; though this one is not so interesting anyways. Well i dunno if it all means something it kinda is interesting how it fits together. Right, i just use the trine and sextile for an example, i agree they shouldn't be so important.Its interesting though, i checked her chart, she is kinda balanced between neptune and pluto and i would say very pluto/neptune afflicted: moon opposite neptune
venus trine neptune
venus opposite pluto
moon trine pluto
in my case its not the same:
venus sextile pluto
