I find this aspect very powerful in Synastry. Would it lead to a feeling of strong identification for the NN person?

What's your experience with it?

I have This aspect with a soulmate and I do feel stongly connected but I am the IC person so don't know how NN person would feel.
his 12th house NN and my 4th cusp in cancer.

I wonder if the NN person would feel the impact more. As far as I know the other person is supposed to pull the NN person forward and help them progress, and I noticed that every time my NN conjuncts someone's IC I strongly identify with them. It's like I am able to connect with their very soul and the connection is very profound. I feel like I find myself mirrored by them but at the same time they represent traits that attract me or traits that I project onto them. It's very hard to explain, but I do think it indicates a soul connection.
