now I am curious about IC, in my opinion, the sign on IC can give us clues about what we need to feel secure and stable, this must be something you cannot function properly without ... something simple but vital, like air or water.
please answer these questions and feel free to elaborate etc 1) sign on your IC (no planets yet plz)
2) what makes you feel grounded
3) what is IC in your opinion my IC is in Taurus, I need harmony if this is something I cannot get from my immediate family or close friends or people that I work with on a daily basis I become a scary b*tch from hell  depressive, moody and (self-)destructive and even ruthless my mom has Aries IC, I noticed she gets easily depressed if she has nothing to do when, for example she falls ill and has to stay a couple of days in bed, I can see it's is literally driving her insane, she needs to be active all the time so what about your IC? Yay to this thread!My IC has cancer. I need food, sleep, and a stable environment to feel good. I am not one of those people who can function without food or sleep -- at all! If I don't have these things, I become whiny, sad, and miserable. IP: Logged |

IC is in Virgo.Like I said in the DSC post, I try my hardest to suppress any Virgo tendencies I have in myself. I hate when others are judgmental, so I try my hardest not to be that. Not sure why. In order to feel secure, I need a romantic male presence in my life. It's kind of stupid, actually. That's most reflected by my Libra Moon in the 5th, not really my IC. IP: Logged |

my ic is Libra,i had to think for a moment, the first thing that came to my mind, is owning my own home. maybe this is reflected by my mars being in the 2nd, and sun practically being in the 2nd too. but at core, what makes me feel complete is a person, love, relationship, makes me feel complete or 'whole' i think. affection from others. I think I may have 3rd/4th intercepted houses, but it's coming up as Cancer at the tip/cusp of my 4th, well into Leo for the rest.I have no freakin' idea how to read that  I hear the IC is like the soul too. IP: Logged |

I have Aries on my IC, and my Aries Mars exactly conjuncts it. Talk about being temperamental about my personal space! The IC also reflects your mother or vice versa, I've always considered my mother an independent person who raised me by herself, she also was super young, I wonder if Aries being the first sign would have to do with that or maybe I'm looking into it far more than I should. But Aries seems so unlike the qualities of the IC, so does independence act as my nurturing? IP: Logged |

Peri, I also have to agree with your mom Aries IC; and feeling depressed when you have nothing to do... Does your mom have Sag. ASC? I think that also adds to the fear of boredom. IP: Logged |

Idk, MVM, maybe. I just don't think it's anyone's business to judge other people if what they're doing doesn't affect them. Like calling another person a sl*t or fat. I hate it. Hyper criticalness is not very attractive to me (I have a Pisces Venus so...)IP: Logged |

Oook, well, I have Cancer on the cusp and mostly Leo. I guess I like feeling all secure and all that Cancerian stuff, but I mostly identify with the Leo stuff.I need fun and entertainment to ground me and feed my soul LOL EDIT: I also have a very strong to desire to entertain at home. Throwing a good dinner party, making sure everyone is really well-fed and happy and totally entertained. On a grand, lavish scale. It's a strong feeling I've had over the past few years. IP: Logged |

I've got Pisces on my IC. What makes me feel grounded is my earth: Virgo. lol. I assume you're referring to what makes me feel comfortable in an environment or in familial relationships. With close relationships, it's probably clarity of heart. Seeing my family with compassion and being able to see their true selves. In the outside world I typically am not that emotional; I am in the helping professions, but this dictates that I empathize, not be emotional myself. In my private life, I have to connect to that emotional energy within myself to connect with my family and the friends that I consider to be as close as family. If I don't, I feel rather lonely, melancholy, and detached. I do think it's funny though... I think an effect of the Pisces IC is that I have such a messy apartment. Not filthy, just messy. A small Virgo part of me hates it, but I rather enjoy having one area that I can retreat to that feels lived in. IP: Logged |

My IC is Aquarius...I need 'uniqueness' or 'originality' to feel stable and secure???Not sure how to interpret that one. ------------------

1) Aries IC2) an enviroment that keeps me interested. I can't be somewhere that bores me easily (eg. the small town Im stuck in at the moment) otherwise I get irritated due to Cabin Fever. Other than that, I think all my other needs are related to my virgo moon: Organization and autonomy are the big ones.
3. They say the inner you, but Im not so sure.

Pisces ICEmpathy and the ability to feel connected I suppose. I'm generally not that emotional, but I like it when the connection is there on a subtle level. The Virgo dimension brings security and a sense of clarity. IP: Logged |

Thanks haha, I'm hoping I either move back up North or atleast to Raleigh, Chapel Hill, or Wilmington. On the brightside, the beaches here are gorgeous...its just that you can only be lying next to obnoxious ppl on those gorgeous beaches for so long before they lose their appeal.  IP: Logged |

My IC is in Sag, and my Moon and Neptune fall in my 4th house.
I feel like the IC by sign describes things that you need around you to be secure as well as what your enviroment needs to consist of to keep you happy whether it be work or home, for me it represents my Mother who is very religious, philosophical, and a life long student, she is a English teacher for god sakes! lol
For me personally though I love open spaces, large spacious houses with open floor plans.
I feel secure and at peace when I am outside doing something that involves being with nature. I need books, I love to read and I am at my best when I learning something new or striving for that next big ideal, whatever it maybe. And I love to travel, and I cannot not wait to take up residence in another countries as other cultures fascinate me.IP: Logged |

I have IC in Sagittarius, and its ruler Jupiter is in Sagittarius in 3rd and conjunct it. I guess it's about freedom,broadmindedness,idealism,expansion,and philosophy,and search for truth is important in my life it also fits with my multiracial,multicultural family background.
