say you're writing an email and during it moon is opposing your chiron. the person who reads it the next day has the moon on their mercury, many degrees away..

would the effect of the moon opposition chiron (the energy in it) be as obvious once the moon has moved forward considerably? what i mean is, if it was read minutes later (vs hours) the moon being in the same place as it was when it was written would have a stronger *charge* and the energy of the words and feelings in the moment that it would was written would be more apparent, to the reader, right? especially if they have significant contacts (say sun conjunct transiting moon) at that time. but if it's now traversed, will the effect be more *felt* in relation to the current transiting moon's effect on the reader's natal, rather than how the transit was affecting the writer at the time (and the effects of transiting moon on the reader, of course)? or does the energy somehow carry forward, being stamped in time? or both? or is this way too complex a question??

Easy enough question which you make complex.

The "energy" of the letter is contained within the time the letter is sent.

I think that was what you wanted.

if we are speaking about a snail mail letter then probably the effect will be more *felt* in relation to the current transiting moon's effect on the reader's natal ... the writer may be very emotional and strongly affected by the moon or whatever transit when he/she wrote it but if the reader is not bothered by any stressful transit when they are reading it it would not affect/hurt them that much ... but I have to say that sometimes I feel 'the effect' one day before or one day after the Moon actualy moves on an afflicted placement in my chart!

I read lots of horary astrologers prefer to set up the chart for the time they received the question.

haha, yes i'm very good at making things complex. i think it's a pretty complex question by nature, though.

thanks for your inputs!! they clarify a bit, but i'm still slightly confused. blame my aqua sun/merc/mars in the 2nd. slow to process, and always grappling with the weird complexities of life!
