Will you Vertex savvy people give me your opinion re: the Vertex contacts in this synastry? I know I keep posting the same chart for different reasons, but this time I want to focus on whether Vertex is responsible for my inability to shake this guy out of my mind. Tx!

His ASC is on your Vx and Moon opp your Vx. These are both heavy going. Then throw in both of your nodes and the combination can be quite lethal.

I mean your Mars is exactly conjunct his Vertex, so he does feel you too. He probably cut you off because he's MARRIED and he doesn't want to feel tempted, you know?

He has mars in your 12th.. I read in an spiritual astrology book this is what it says.

mars instantly attracted to house person. this is a spiritual link from previuos lifetimes. that draws you together. in order to reseolve problems carried over from those lifetimes.

Mars in someone else's 12th house could also mean hidden enemies, or enemies from the past life.. astrologically speaking that is.

Vertex is a sensitive angle that gives a fated feeling to the vertex person. Kind of a sudden feeling/realization. But has nothing to do with longevity. And this is also astrologically speaking that is.

But well, astrology can tell you lots of sweet things that it actually doesn't matter if we don't really understand how things truly are in the real life.

Now just a personal rant.. I'd rather be abandoned by my partner rather than having him being with me just for the sake of honoring our marriage/commitment.

Comica...to add to your rant... I feel the same way. I would be horrified to find out a man was staying with me due to a sense of duty or even due to his fear of financial ruin. I don't know what country you're from...but here in the U.S., at least in New York and New Jersey, two states with which I am familiar, the divorce laws and precedent often result in the man being financially raped in a divorce... so that he has to start all over from scratch with barely a pot to pee in. Yes...the kids are protected and the ex is maintained as much as possible at the lifestyle to which she had become accustomed...but the man is left with shreds. I am a talkative person and have spoken to many men about this...even complete strangers. They are predominantly of the same mind set...as I heard from a New York City police officer a while ago..." cheaper to keep 'er!!"... so the sad reality is that many marriages are stale but the men don't dream of leaving.

I see, that kind of situation is quite hard to solve. >_< Sorry about my rant, I might be a bit hot headed about it.. I guess that if he had ever talked with his wife about him not having feelings for her anymore (coz he should be honest about it), then it would be such a shame that she would still not let him go.
