Since when is this a new sun sign? And how do I know if my sun sign has changed? My Libra friend brought it up and mentioned she is now a Virgo. I apologize if I'm a little late on this topic, I've been working non-stop! IP: Logged |

I also apologize if it seems like a ridiculous thing to ask, I can be quite gullible.IP: Logged |

No need to apologize...aparently, it has to do with dispute that is currently going on between astrologers. Some argue that our whole zodiac system is all out of whack, not ony are the signs of the zodiac one sign ahead ie. most Ariens born in March and April are actually under the Pisces sign etc.(hence the sidereal system) The other reason is that there is an additional sign between Sagittarius and Scorpio that splits Scorpio and Sagittarius jurisdiction date in two. This sign "Ophiucus" (hope that was right) is the sign that comes before Sagittarius and after Scoropio(or is it before...hmmm) and so most people who are born late Novemeber and Early December fall within its jurisdiction. Interestingly, I am Sagittarius no matter which system applies(Both Tropic, Sidereal and even with the inclusion of the 13th sign) Guess there is no escaping Being a Sag. IP: Logged |

Virgo is my sunsign in the constellation zodiac. I was born on October 29th, the 2nd to the last day that Sun was in the constellation of Virgo. Raymond

Guess I'd become Pisces. XP But if we include the new sign in the system, then the whole system might be out of balance, right?IP: Logged |

Ophiuchus is a constellation on the ecliptic it's not meant to be in the tropical nor the sidereal zodiacs
don't mix them together.
the constellations aren't the same as the tropical zodiac nor the sidereal zodiac
that goes especially for the tropical zodiac which is a northern hemisphere season-based zodiac. Raymond IP: Logged |

Interesting, there are many articles floating around the interweb that Ophiuchus is a bonafide sun sign. That would make me a Pisces. When I think about it, I show the obvious characteristics of an Aries, but it seems muted. I've noticed that with other March Ariens and another good example is with August/ Early September Virgos, who seem quite extroverted and talkative. I don't know, maybe I am over analyzing this!IP: Logged |
