Being annoyed will give them the grudge.

If it helps I'm Scorpio rising with a Taurus Stellia and am more likely to go for cutting off all ties if someone annoys me enough.

i'm a mars in taurus and i hold zero romantic grudges..or at least nothing's happened ot me up until now to hold one. i'm pretty much a whatever attitude when it comes to these sorts of things. like ah well that's the way it goes.

would you be able to be more specific about there being a romantic grudge? like i've had people like me and not like me and done bad things to me, but i've never held anything against anyone regardless of the outcome. i guess for myself i don't take romantic/love so so so seriously. like if someone doesn't call or email or something i'm like ah well. i take the feelings seriously but overall i like to remain a neutral/friendly vibe.

Scorpio should be more than Mars in Taurus.
I have 1st ruler in Scorpio and have no interest if someone says no, or doesnt say yes.

I once held romantic grudges in my young days when I obviously had nothing better to do with my time (other than to plot my revenge of making these people eat their hearts out). It was unrequited love in both cases. Even today, I still find a bit of twisted pleasure when I see how things turned out because life has a funny way of flipping the script. I held these grudges for years because the ordeals simply bruised my ego. I was young too.

But, I have matured somehow because I find it more difficult to hold grudges, romantic or not, these days.

Grudge is the wrong word to use here. Someone says no, I take it they mean no to me. If they meet me again in 5 years, and somehow change their views, it doesnt matter, I would still be the same person as I was then.

I remember asking someone out a few times, just me and her, but she said no every single time. She comes back with any interest, obviously, no need to go there knowing I did what I could at the time.

Difficult question really as Scorpio and Mars in Taurus is fixed, so likely to remain interested in someone due to always being like that. Opposed to someone more fickle like a mutuable sign on the ASC who likes/dislikes changes day after day, depending on the circumstances. Whereas a cardinal would just find a new one everyday

I used to hold a lot of romantic grudges... Mars in Taurus/ Venus Scorpio.
I don't hold them anymore, as in, dwell on them, but in some ways I do when I think of the person. I never forget a slight. I'll smile and be their friend now, but on a crappy day I might find myself fuming about it and wanting revenge.

I do hold grudges against people and I've got Mars in Gemini/Venus in Aries. I never forget a betrayal (loyalty means everything to me).

I am talking about a romantic passion grudge, when things won't go the way the grudge holder wants it to. So they hold a grudge when in reality they are the problem in the first place..

This has nothing to do with not being loyal or annoyance or whatever else..

a choice between the two ? .. the ascendant sign makes more sense ..
i.e. it's more a product of the asc rather than a mars sign imho

in any case as far as 'taurus' and 'scorpio' go as signs ..
both are equally capable of holding a romantic grudge ..
put the two together .. scorp asc plus mars in taur ..
you'd get double the RGS ( romantic grudge syndrome :-))) .. )

Happy I believe that to the 10th power..I happen to think that Scorp and Taurus are the two most grudgeful signs anyway with Cancer following not close behind..

Hmmmmmm, I don't think I've experienced one of those.....Once I'm out of a relationship I want the man gone so far out of my life that I might have thought I had a bad dream or something...if he wasn't good to be in a relationship with then I wouldn't want him hanging around afterward and grudges I don't find are good things to have cause I figure one is only hurting oneself really.....sort of like revenge...you have to dig two graves instead of one....

Maybe it's my gentle unconditional Venus in Pisces talking here and my Aries Sun .....

but actually answering the question and I'm gonna go by influence I would guess a strong Pluto placement with a bunch of water planets....would be the grudge influence.....but like I said I don't have that much experience or observation on this matter....
