I met the man I would have the longest relationship with when t pluto squared my venus. Now that this is over I was wondering what other aspects should I watch for?

Transits: when I MET the man who I had the longest relationship of my life so far, I had--
-Transiting Sun and Jupiter in my 8th house, conjunct my Union
-Transiting Eros in my 8th house, conjunct my Sun
-Mars on my DC
-Transiting Venus conjunct my Valentine
-Transiting Karma conjunct my Eros
-Transiting Union conjunct my Pluto
-Transiting NN conjunct my NN

When we first got together (7 months later), I had:
-Mars in my 7th house
-Transiting Jupiter exactly conjunct my Pluto
-Transiting Lust conjunct my Jupiter

In our composite, we had:
-Transiting Mars in the 8th house, exactly conjunct our composite Venus-Lust
-Transiting Jupiter conjunct our composite Pluto, square our NN and opposite our Lust
-Transiting Pluto square our Karma
-Transiting NN square our Sun
-Transiting NN conjunct our Union

None of these aspects look super-significant to me, though, but it's interesting to check back and see what was going on in the charts

General aspects I would think would be significant for everyone would be:
-Transiting Mars in 7th house
-Significant conjunctions of transiting planets to natal NN, or vice-versa
-Transiting Mars, Venus, Pluto, or for some relationships, Jupiter conjunct the DC
-Venus-Pluto contacts
-Venus Mars contacts

my first thought was .. saturn transits ..
checked back to within a month of estimated meeting .. ( i don't keep notes of exactly when ;-)) .. )
so for me .. and it's significant friendships .. a few that were romantic ..
and in every case .. transiting saturn was active in my chart ..
( didn't really check for other transits )
~~~~~~~~
edited to add .. saturn is my 7th house ruler .. and is also fairly prominent in my chart ..
trine moon / opposite venus / square chiron / square uranus and opposite mc
'minor' aspects to sun / merc / mars / bm lillith / n.node ..
What orbs should you use with progressions? I've got pro venus coming to a conj with natal sun, but it's still 3 or 4 deg away.
I think progressions and solar arcs are psychological unless they are triggered by transits. I agree with what cosmobiologists and uranian astrologers say about that.
I think solar arcs can be good for timing events that way. midpoints are used with them too. You use only 30 minutes applying which is duration of half a year and 30 minutes separating which is a duration of half a year, and altogether that's 1 degree which is a duration of a year.
faster moving transts hitting planets,points that are involved in solar arc significant compared to faster moving transits hitting planets,point that are not involved in solar arc. They are used for timing events.
the Sun/Moon midpoint is said to be very important for relationships. The Ascendant/Midheaven midpoint is too.
planets aspecting those midpoints could be something to watch out for
conjunction,opposition,square,semisquare,sesquiquadrate
if you're into uranian astrology, then the other 22.5 degree series aspects could be used too, but the orbs should be small.
also the social,outerplanets in the 7th house could be significant for relationships
In March 2010
Transiting Mercury,Venus,Jupiter,and Uranus will be in my 7th house
I have a lunar return on March 13th which has Mercury,Venus,Jupiter,and Uranus in 7th
Jupiter is conjunct the Descendant
Lunar Return Ascendant/Descendant axis will be aligned with natal Ascendant/Descendant axis within 2 degrees......a definitely significant 27 1/2 day period.
Juno trine Ascendant in the Lunar Return less than 2 degrees too
I have a lunar return on Valentines day 2010
Moon-Venus-Jupiter conjunction sextile Pluto,and quincunx Mars for a yod
Mars and Saturn are sextile,and they quincunx Moon-Venus-Jupiter for another Yod.
It look like there could be some fated relationship that could start during that 27 1/2 day period
the lunar return descendant conjunct natal Venus
using orb of 3 degree applying,1 degree separating
transiting Jupiter conjuncts my Moon from Jan 19th to February 4, 2010.....exact on Feb 1
Transiting Pluto will conjunct my Sun/Moon midpoint (minor grand trine with my Sun trine Moon) throughout all January 2010, but Saturn will also square my Sun/Moon midpoint. It doesn't have to be a bad thing, but it could indicate possible restrictions,limitations..
solar arc Mars is currently squaring my Sun/Moon midpoint and will still do that during that time....so transiting Pluto and Saturn triggering the Sun/Moon midpoint.
Transiting Jupiter will conjunct my Moon within 1 degree when the Sun/Moon midpoint is being aspect too
so there is definitely a strong theme showing
Transiting Sedna is opposing my Venus and square my Moon/Node midpoint right now too, and that could indicate a relationship with somebody that involves spirituality. I prefer spiritually oriented women for partners any way.
the progressed Sun moves 1 degree per year.
I'd use no more than 1 degree orb applying or separating for conjunction,opposition,square,trine
use half a degree for sextile
I don't think trines,sextiles are event-oriented aspects. I think that they are psychological aspects. I am in agreement with the cosmobiologists and uranian astrologers.
correction! (looked at wrong date.) The correct date's transits are as follows:
This is the day we first met, not the day the relationship begun,
Me:
tVenus(3rd) trine nVenus(11th)1 deg orb
tPluto(3rd) trine nVenus(11th) wide orb.
tSaturn(11th) conj nVenus(11th) exact.
tJupiter(3rd) trine nVenus(11th) 3 deg orb
tEros (3rd) trine nVenus (11th)
tValentine in 8th House.
tVesta in 7th
tAmor in 7th
Him:
tMars(2nd) trine nVenus(6th)
tSun(10th) trine nJupiter(6th)
tSun(10th) trine nSaturn(6th)
tPluto(8th)trine nSun(5th)
tPluto(8th) sextile DC
tAmor in 1st
tVesta in 1st
I'll add more transits if I spot anything significant
Forget about progressions for the time being. Relationship is house 7.
2 houses you need to look at are house 7 and 1. Both rulers in relation to the other and house 7 to house 7 ruler on its own.
All you need is transits. Feel free to check the progressions after looking at transits.
