im asking this cos my mom had a very difficult labor and she said my head was out for hours before i was out completely.
so is the time of birth set for when we re out completely or starts when just a part of the body is out ? or starts when we breathe the first breath?

Hmmm

They say that your soul picks your birthdate and time, so in your case, perhaps you were waiting for the right moment to be completely born? So maybe it's completely out.

thanks... then like amowls says i assume u need to be completely out to draw yr first breath..

although sometimes birth is delayed by earthly factors so even if the soul picks a time it might not be when the real birth happens

I would assume when the job of midwife...midperson is done. If only the head is out, and they go for tea break, that is not it.
