Ok well I have to say, I only very rarely have dreams where I have sex with someone, or am aroused by stuff. I'm 25 and I don't recall any dreams with explicit content, 2-3 occasions perhaps, and sex was more like a theme, like those movies where you know 2 characters slept together the night before but you haven't actually seen it ?

I do remember kissing, maybe 4-5 times ?

My subconscious thinks I'm a virgin, apparently..

However, for 6 months now, I keep seeing this guy I know, and I must have had like at least 10 dreams where we were doing stuff, again, nothing too explicit but very arousing dreams !!! Emotional too !!!

And the funny or weird thing is, I think he's a nice goodlooking guy, and yes we did flirt a little for a couple of months, but my conscious self doesn't really fancy him.

I mean, if it came to it, I would consider dating him and stuff but I just don't want to. There's something about his character I find a bit repulsive. So when I look at him, I see just a friend. Seriously. And I've had some other crushes and things going on.

But then I go to sleep and it started to freak me out tbh.

So astrologically speaking, what do you think would indicate this ?

Yes it is.. Have you been in a similar situation ?

And another thing, in all these dreams there is this feeling that he knows everything about me.. Deep stuff.

It's so weird because I've always had a very honest relationship with my subconscious lol. I'm not in love with him, I don't need him or anything. If I were to daydream, I'd pick someone else !

Dream symbolism can be complicated. Remember that dreams are a message to you from your own subconscious--even telepathic dreams are your subconscious trying to let you know that someone is trying to reach you.

So even when you DO lust for the person you're dreaming about in real life, the dream ALSO has important and significant symbolic content.

Erotic intensity in a dream is a subconscious message that you are trying to unite and commingle different parts of yourself. This guy represents some way you are secretly yearning to change, grow, or transform.

I suggest you get a piece of paper and free-associate for 5 minutes or so, writing down ALL of the qualities, events, and traits you associate with this guy. The meaning might be surprising--it might be that this guy is an actor, and you secretly want to be an actor. It could be very suble, or not. It could be a pun involving his name or something else about him.

Also, carefully record the dreams, and use a dream dictionary to understand the other symbols (other than him) in the dreams. When a dream symbol (like this guy) RECURS, your subconscious is still trying to send an urgent message that you haven't quite gotten or deciphered yet. The sex helps makes it interesting enough for you to pay attention!

All of that said, I wouldn't be surprised if someday these sex dreams increase your attraction for this guy in real life. Although actually that thing in his character that you find just a wee bit repulsive might be exactly the thing your dreams are trying to tell you, if you can pin it down.

Thanks Lucia, that was a great answer !

I don't think it's telepathic either. Obviously it's more about psychology than astrology.

What you said about paying attention to what else is going on in those dreams is really interesting. There is a soothing quality to them though, so maybe my subconscious is trying to calm itself down..

We're both students and there isn't much about him that I would secretly want to imitate. I've had many friends of the opposite sex so far and I've always been pretty firm on whether I saw them as friends or not.

Maybe deep down I'm looking for someone to trust and talk to about stuff.. Or I need to trust myself more ?

The dreams sound very nice, in any case! I have trouble not falling for a guy when he shows up like that in my dreams.

Trusting yourself more sounds good...you might just be telling yourself that everything is okay at school and in your emotional life. But also, look for subtleties--for example, whether he reminds you at all of someone you've known in the past, and why, or who else you've known with the same name as his.

I strongly recommend doing that freewriting exercise, because it can bring up UNCONSCIOUS associations you might hacve with him in a way that just thinking about it will not.
