Do you read a Davidson relationship chart just like a composite? Which do you find more accurate?I've never related much to composites of relationships that are important to me--I've found synastry far more revealing. There's a note on astro.com that with a Davidson you can do transits, solar returns, etc for the relationship.
But I'm wondering, beyond that. Also--the Davidson is so radically different from the Composite that it kind of renders one or the other meaningless. The problem kind of reminds me of trying to deal with different house systems, which I just cannot get my head around.
For example, in my Davidson (corrected) with someone, we have Aries Sun/Pisces Moon/Scorpio Rising, and a jumbo solar stellium in the 4th house. In our Davidson (uncorrected), our Sun moves from the 4th to 5th house and our Jupiter moves from the 8th to 9th house. In our Composite (midpoint method), we have a Libra Sun and an enormous solar stellium in the 10th house.
These are just so many different ways of looking at a relationship that they start to seem meaningless to me...especially since a facility with metaphor could make ALL of them seem right.
