Hello you people out there, my birthday is coming up in 2 weeks. Below there's a chart: natal on the inside, Solar Return on the outside. Your help in interpreting this would be very appreciated.;-)

I am especially interested in love-related and career-related matters ... well, like MOST of the people usually are. ;-)

I do wonder about that SR's Descendant placed in my 1st house - sitting right on top (conjunct) my natal Moon & Valentine. What to expect from this, in your opinion?

Also: SR-Moon conjunct my natal Juno & Ceres.

And: SR's Eros conjunct my natal IC (?)

And, finally: SR's "Karma" conjunct my natal Uranus (by 2 dg) - and conjunct my natal Sun/Moon-Midpoint ( 1dg)?

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR IDEAS AND INSPIRATION!

Disclaimer: I started trying to learn to read SRs like, last week.

Based on what I've read on Cafe Astrology, keys are the sign of the SR ASC, the natal house placement of the SR ASC, and the SR Moon in the SR.

Soooo...

With that SR ASC in your natal 7th (plus Mars+Venus), I have hopes that this year will involve deepening/cementing your romantic partnerships, or maybe beginning a new partnership. (This could also play out with open rivals and with colleagues--emphasis on who you relate to and how you relate.)

SR ASC in Gemini--lots of communication, high-energy correspondence with people, focus on siblings or sibling-like relationships, short trips...BUT SR Moon in Taurus brings a more grounding focus on finances and the home, so these two counter each other a bit.

I think you'll be really taking stock of your partnerships and how they fit in with/relate to your career and home life.

I'm not sure that those asteroids are actually all that significant in an SR.

Happy Solar Return!

Both your SR Ascendant ruler Mercury, and the SR sun are in the second house of values, self worth and finances earned by the self, indicating that the focus for your upcoming year will be very much on these things.

SR mercury and SR sun conjunct in second would imply much thinking about these matters.Perhaps much of your communication for the year will be about what talents or resources you have and are willing to utilize, or what self-worth issues you may have.

This SR sun and Mercury (SR chart ruler) are conjunct your natal Mars in 8th - perhaps you are prompted quite strongly by another to dwell and think of such 2nd house matters, or maybe your drive for the year will be directed in that direction.
*sigh...who ISN'T thinking of finances in these times huh*

Overall it seems to be IMHO a year very much focused on self-working and progressing forwards in your career/finances and resource accumulating/management. SR 2nd house ruler Moon is in taurus in the 11th, perhaps change
in your larger social circle is possible, with more artistic and grounding individuals coming to the forefront and helping you with your 2nd house issues.

Thanks a lot for your replies, especially Lucia & Redstar! I am not very experienced in interpreting SR-charts - and your postings revealed a lot to me, especially the potential significance of house-placements.

So ... my personal "new year" will be more about (self-)security issues than about relationships? Both of you alluded this - and, hm, maybe there's something about that.

No, go back and reread mine--I actually think relationships will be a significant focus, with that 7th house SR ASC and emphasis on communication.

Lucia: Sorry, I misformulated my last response. I read (and understood) what you have written. I just got the impression that my SR will not be about "frolicing around" (can you say so?), but rather about the "seriousness" and substance of all of love-related matters.

Actually, I'll be having a rare transit-aspect coming up during this new SR, and it will last for almost 2 years: Transiting Pluto (currently in my 2nd house of "self-worth") will stand in a fabulous trine to my natal Venus (in earthy and intellectual Virgo in my 9th), and also to my steadfast Taurean natal Juno (in my 5th). So ... Probably my love life will evolve a bit slower, but also more intense and "down to earth" and, at best, will take on a more substantial charactre over the next 1-2 years.

Actually, I am a single person, currently, my last relationship ended about 14 monts ago, and it took 9-10 months to recover from that. Over the last year I have struggled hard with that latest painful experience. But: Now I feel that I am slowly, but surely in an opening-up-again phase. I also feel: I have changed! ;-) (Without really being able to describe that further...)
