yes, i only just discovered it in the last year or so. in the old days the ephemeris didn't shade retrogrades so i never picked it out, but when i first saw it i looked back and its every year. most of the planets have a schedule that repeats in their own way...you may not notice it when it's not hitting on you, so to speak. Uranus is my chart ruler and is currently seperating from a trine to itself and also opposing Jupiter. I think it may go back and aspect Jupiter again, not sure. Yeah, I did notice when Uranus aspected my 3rd ruler, Mars. With the aspect to itself, the change will have reflected in my personality. I have done my best, while including natural reactions, to see how my behaviour affects me. I am very happy with how I go about issues in my life, regardless of whether someone else may think it silly. More recently than ever, its all about living my life how I want it to be. Growing up in a house and in life with 2 others (same as me) is not the best for finding my own way. On my own path here. Not sure if Uranus (or even Aries) relates to independence. My way is to bring myself up, everyone likes that option. It is very positive. IP: Logged |

I thought MK was MotherKonfessor. Coffee... Uranus as your chart ruler should drive you bonkers. So I assume the Retrograde makes the erratic behavior of Uranus less? IP: Logged |

I have no idea Alia. I can see the saturn serious side to me and yet the uranus irratic, off the wall side is there too. If it had to chose personally i'd say uranus but then i have it in my 7th so... ! IP: Logged |

hmmm true. Maybe my seriousness is my taurean side then!I never attract capricorns i have to admit and i find them way too serious in all the wrong areas (no offense to anyone) so maybe you have a point. Maybe the modern ruler is more "aquarian" in essence. IP: Logged |

i attract capricorns alot and they also are attracted by me but it always end up in disaster.maybe my aries sun and libra moon disagree with my hookin up w cappies. and yes they are too serious,, but they have that sexy face! and they are great lovers sigh! so i think modern ruler gives an imprint to the happenings RE yr 7th house the classic may indicate who u attract. do u attract cappies too? I just received this by email... sounds quite interesting!Uranus, the planet of rebellion, turns retrograde on July 1. Uranus is the oddball of the solar system. For starters, it rolls along its side -- on its equator -- instead of spinning upright in its orbit the way planets typically do. Uranus is also in retrograde for more than half of the year. This means it is only direct for two weeks, and is retrograde for about five months out of every Earth year. Astrologically, Uranus liberates you from the shackles of convention and applies pressure to change whatever is stagnant in your life. Uranus rules electromagnetic energy and is like a lightning storm that creates chaos as it cleans the air, revealing a fresh new world once the storm has cleared. But when Uranus is retrograde, expect the unexpected. Wonderful and startling surprises are very possible. This retrograde may set your wild side free, or it could make a notoriously outgoing person uncharacteristically shy. To know exactly what to expect, review the placement of Uranus in your birth chart. If Uranus is direct in a chart, intuitive and inventive impulses flow on a regular basis. However, when Uranus is retrograde in a birth chart, rebellious urges tend to bottle up and then burst forth, seemingly out of nowhere. A retrograde period seems to reawaken freedom urges within individuals, causing them to suddenly and unconsciously rebel against any ruts or confinement in life. Is Uranus retrograde in your birth chart? Should you be on guard against your own rebellious tendencies in the following months to come? IP: Logged |
