My moon is in Taurus in 8th house. I sometimes feel Taurean, sometimes Scorpioish. What has more influence? House or planet? Where's your moon and house it in?

Both have a lot of influence, I'd say. I've got a Virgo Moon in the 5th, and I feel a bit of each as well.

My moon is in Aries, 3rd house.

All my boyfriends in the past have complained that i can be aloof and not very affectionate sometimes lol then highly passionate and forthright.

leo moon 12th house here. i definitely feel like a lioness, but glad i have my taurus sun to keep me grounded. i contradict myself at times because i like attention *leo moon*-just from close friends and family but i also have got to be alone every day for an extended period of time to rejuvenate. (12th house moon) if not, i drag the rest of the day, and become quite irritable.

Good question. I have Sun in Scorpio 2nd & Moon in Capricorn 4th house.

I feel both Sun and Moon strongly, sometimes the Moon more so, it trines my ascendant so I think this reinforces the Moons influence for me.

my Moon is in Aries too, but in the 4th house. since moon is cozy in the 4th house maybe i'm a bit more Cancerian in this particular aspect? but maybe more the negative side of Cancer energy i notice. I have lots of fires in my chart yet i can be so soppy and overly-sensitive and defensive at times, AND with the tendency of being a bit insensitive towards outside/others Aries-style. and my life has experienced major overshadowing by a strong mother-figure too (it's conjunct my SN).

bah that sounds terrible! i have to find a good side of this placement in me now.

My Moon is in Pisces in 6th house

it does feel like I have Moon in Virgo and not just Moon in Pisces

I also think that Saturn-Neptune opposition with its emphasis on health, medical stuff, squaring my Moon also helps me relate more to Moon in Virgo.

“It is absolutely the perfect name,” Dr. Brown said, given the continuing discord among astronomers and the public over whether Pluto should have retained its planetary status.

In mythology, Eris ignited discord that led to the Trojan War.

“She causes strife by causing arguments among men, by making them think their opinions are right and everyone else’s is wrong,” Dr. Brown said. “It really is just perfect.”

Both are equally influential. Before I knew much about astrology, I always wanted to be a Sag because I related a lot to the sign. Turns out my Sun and Mercury are in my 9th house

I have a 5th house Libra Moon. It gives me an affinity with my Leo Moon boyfriend.

I always figured the house didn't mean you acted like the sign that ruled the house as much as you tended to gravitate towards things that that house sign is associated with.

I have a capricorn moon in the 9th house, for instance, and I can be very reserved and don't show my feelings very often. I especially get this way in situations where I am discussing philosophy or ideas. I become very objective, even if the issue is something that would normally impassion a person. So my Capricorn (coolness) expresses in a Sagittarius (philosophy) situation.

Another way it plays out is that I can feel very studious and driven, but in a academic setting (as opposed to say, while playing a game, like someone with a moon in the 5th house might do). I guess the sign and house are pretty intertwined, though.

Just curious about how much of an influence the Decan of a persons Moon/sun would factor into the original question? or is negligible?

The Moon's sign is how your emotions are, and the house it is is the area of life you focus in. So since your emotions focus on the 8th house issues, it would give a Scorpionic feel.

Moon in Cancer in the 7th house. I am obsessed with 7th house issues (relationships), and I get Cancerian about them.

My Moon is in Libra, 9th house. It is conjunct Pluto so that is a big, obsessive boost.

Education is very important to me and I would say that I am obsessed with it. Understanding human relationships is a big interest. I have a degree in psychology and sociology, working on my masters in psych and soc and starting another program in anthropology. I am considering teaching in the meantime.

As for spirituality - I am not really religious but I do like to learn about world religions.

I am big on fairness and the law, jury duty was one of the highlights of my life - BUT I DIDN'T GET SELECTED! Maybe I tried too hard, looked too eager. I considered law school, to focus on mediation and alternative dispute resolution, but I decided on the "people sciences". I might do it anyway since I'll probably be a student forever!

Foreign travel - I have not had many opportunities. I hope this will change, but it has been all about school, school, school. I was thinking about teaching abroad for a year or two, another one of those "who knows" things. I like foreign men (Jupiter in the 7th) so I might have to visit in-laws overseas, lol.

What I am saying is, it must be a blend of the two, sign and house.
