Pisces. Taurus. sometimes Libra. sometimes Virgo Stop mumbling...if you have something to say, for god sake it must be deserving of a bit of energy to say it. I hate having to say "parden?"..."what was that?" "what??" after everything you say. It makes me feel daft. Speak up. that's all. IP: Logged |

The other night I had a dream where I jumped my sweetie, jumped right on his back and started giving him shots to the head because he was mumbling and it really bugged me. He is a Taurus with a 12th house sun and mercury. He mumbles alot, because he wants to be sure only the intended audience hears him. But I can bearly hear him sometimes. Then it occured to me that I have very little patience when it comes to mumblers. I feel like they are lazy and not trying hard enough to be heard. I have Sag rising, and everyone gets to hear what I think. I dunno...I guess I figure if you're going to talk at all, be heard dammit. IP: Logged |

I have two levels, REALLY LOUD and mumbling. LOL there is no middle ground with me. I'm a cancer, but I have quite a bit of Virgo in my chart. and Pluto in Libra. My husband is a Virgo, he has a stellium in Virgo and he doesn't mumble at all. If you didn't hear him the 1st time you weren't listening LOL He's very clear with what he says and very stern as well. Wouldn't mumbling, or lack of, be more in line with the placements and aspects of our mercury? AS the planet that rules communication, and it's mode in our charts... Then it would possibly be Mercury in Pisces,Taurus,Virgo (+Libra Sun)which would happen with some of the individuals with those sun signs?IP: Logged |

Yes, that would be more likely. Bad me for playing pop astrology with sun signs. I should know better than that! 12th house Mercury could certainly be a major mumbler aspect. IP: Logged |

I'm a Virgo Sun, Virgo Venus, with Mercury in 12th. I have Cancer Moon and Scorpio AC. I don't mumble since it also annoys me. I don't talk much though because I find it tiresome, although I'll have a burst of verbal diarrhea if I haven't spoken in a while. I prefer to speak in written language. I can go for days without speaking. edit:The person who annoys me with their mumbling has Virgo Sun, Taurus AC. I'm always saying, "pardon?" or "speak clearly" In this person's case, it's a bad habit he got from laziness, laziness of pronouncing and wording words in a way that's appropriate. I hate it. The more this happens, the more I don't bother to listen. If you mumble, I take it that you don't want to be heard. IP: Logged |

Okay, I have two female Pisces friends with a booming, ultra clear voice. One is an opera singer, the other a professor. My Libra ex was a superb public speaker. I mumble a wee bit, or, well, um, er, not really...I'm a good public speaker too and I can be articulate in that context, but I can get a little lispy and quiet when I'm feeling shy. Leo, Leo Mercury. Actually, I have a booming-voiced Taurus friend too...lots of booming-voiced, articulate, un-mumbly friends in the signs you've listed...maybe cause I hang out with so many actors? Maybe I get lispy and shy because they **** boom so **** much. IP: Logged |

Yeah, you know on second thought, I'm taking Libra off that list. Most Libra's are very eloquent and articulate, and they want to be heard because they want feedback, baby. I only mentioned Libra because I have a Libra neice who I use to live with, who mumbled alot (and still does), but she has kind of a messed up first house and some harsh aspects to her natal sun. Can't remember exactly what but I do recall Saturn in her 3rd house. She's a low talker, when she feels unsure. IP: Logged |
