Okay, I'm into this guy. His Moon opposes my vertex at about 6 degrees. But I read an article where it says that the Moon opposition Vertex has to be within 2 degrees for it to be significant. I can tell you, I've never felt this way about a guy before (can't stop thinking about him)! Because it is 6 degrees, does that mean that the opposition can't be felt?

We also have these aspects:

Moon conjunct South Node
Moon in 1st house
Sun conjunct Moon (wide)
Venus conjunct Chiron
Venus trine Mars
Venus square Mars
Mercury semisquare Sun/Moon mdpt
Ascendant conjunct Sun/Moon mdpt

Please help!

The feeling you feel towards him can be described by other aspects.

Moon conjunct South Node is potent, as is DW Venus/Mars aspects.

Thanks for the reply.

The feelings for him that I have aren't really that sexual, as it is supposed to be with the Venus/Mars aspects.

I've even had dreams about this guy. So that's why I was still wondering if the Vertex meant anything.

It might help if you posted your chart up or the other persons, to get a better idea of both of your relationship potential, sorry that sounds really corny, but it is crucial to synastry...

Leodiva,

The Moon conjunct South Node might indicate you were mother/child in a past life (if you believe in reincarnation). That could explain why the Venus/Mars attraction isn't being felt so strongly.

Vertex tends to lend an air of fatedness to whatever it touches, and the Chironic contacts might suggest that your interactions are somehow healing for you.

p.s. Sorry if the mother/child thing dampens it for you! But then again, souls may share several multitudes of lifetimes together where they may be mother/son, siblings, friends, spouses, etc. It shouldn't affect the current situation unless there is heavy karma from a particular life to deal with.

P.P.S. One more thing.. Leodiva, the primary thing here is - you have feelings for him. The synastry may or may not reflect it to an exact degree. I wouldn't worry too much about it if you do not see everything you may be hoping to see. Besides, I find in a chart that there are always factors behind the scenes that complete the story. For instance, my synastry with my love includes a tough Mercury-Mercury square with Neptune-in-AC in the composite (tough communication with a fuzzy relationship status) that causes a challenge, but our Mercuries are parallel (looking at the declinations), and there are some Psyche contacts that help us out (an almost telepathic connection). If you were to throw in some asteroids like Eros, Psyche, Valentine, Karma, etc., they would help flesh out the details of this connection you want to understand in more detail.

hi sunshine,

lol Oh, don't worry, it's not dampening. I guess the connection not so much sexual, but moreso romantic. I still get shivers when he touches me! lol but what you posted about the moon/south node contact shows me that the attraction goes deeper than that. It actually makes me feel fuzzy inside.

Vertiver,

Here's our chart.

Leodiva,

"Sexual attraction" doesn't always mean "I want to bite your neck!" It can just mean a deep, magnetic pull towards the other person a la the shivers you described. If you feel that "I just need to be close to you" sensation when you are around him I bet you are feeling the effects of that DW Venus/Mars.

I am a synastry newbie but Sun conjunct Moon is always a beautiful thing.
