I've been thinking about patterns and similarities in synastry. Do you have the same aspects in synastry that always show up in different relationships? And how differently do you experience them in different relationships?I've only been in two long term relationships and both of them involved conjunction/opposition with the sun and moon. sun-moon opposition sun-moon conjunction moon-moon opposition also both of them had venus/mars conjunctions another big one is venus/mar and pluto squares what's your pattern? My Valentine is always conjunct the guy's something--usually his Ascendent or Pluto.I almost never have significant Mars-Venus contacts, except with the "one that got away." There's always some Venus-Pluto and Eros-Mars stuff in the synastry. There's almost never much house overlay action in the 1st, 5th, or 7th houses that are supposed to be so important in synastry...often, my planets fall into their 11th or 12th house, theirs into my 9th or 10th. the ones that stand out right now from memory are very pleasant mercury contacts, esp to sun and venus, as well as personal planet/point conj to the other's MCIP: Logged |

Venus/Mars Venus/PlutoThose are always common themes. The relationships are always steamy, but end with one party getting heartbroken. Often me, but sometimes I'm the heartbreaker. I have not really looked at asteroids. I will have to study those a bit further. IP: Logged |
