How would one go about it? Is there such a thing as parent/child synastry lol? Or a parent/child composite?

In particular, can the chart identify future areas of conflict? Past life connections? Is my sweet and affectionate Capricorn child destined to become a raging lunatic teenager, etc.?

I'm also fascinated by generational patterns, especially along gender lines. I have birth data for myself, mother, and maternal grandmother. Would be an interesting study huh?

It is possible to read synastry/composite charts between families too.

Charts shows the potentials of a person/relationship, and whether we have little or fair astrological knowledge, it's still hard to predict things with total accuracy of course.

a professional my mom went to did her this comparison. apparently we have a great synastry, but our relationship is bound to go through transformations...

also , this reading was very helpful, because with the astrologers help my mom realized that she shouldn't mess with the "harmony of chaos" I like to live in. Before this visit she was very reluctant to accept this trait of mine.

I would love to explore the interactions between myself and my mother (difficult, conflict ridden relationship), myself and my grandmother (beautiful & soulful, kindred spirits), and myself and my son, who I feel is a soulmate.

Evander, that is very cool that your mom even bothered to have a synastry reading done LOL! At least she tries to understand you

These readings are very important. In my own family, every member has a draconic connection a specific area in Pisces, plus the multicomposite is bang on the Galactic Centre.

I agree IQ.

If i do a multicomposite of my kids and me, the AC is exact conjunct my natal chiron and my kids definitely heal me. Plus karma opposes my natal stellium and my kids are all karmic debts i have repaid.
