I currently am in a romantic relationship with someone whose SN is conjunct my Asendant and my NN. There is both a strong spiritual connection from the past. In fact sometimes we call each other by a different name. And whats funny is we never have dated anyone by those names, or have any friends by those names. Strange... NN conjunct the Ascendant does point toward a something in the future. The Ascendant person is instrumental in the NN persons spiritual path, perhaps there interchange encourages the NN along his spiritual path because they instinctively understand it and support the NNs spiritual progress. I love that connection. If the rest of the chart supports it this person is quite possibly in your soul group. IP: Logged

But I was like really freaked out at first because I didnt want to offend him. Then he ends up telling me that he might call me by a different name because this name keeps popping up in his head. lol So yeah some craziness there. Definitely a Karmic connection. In your soul group connections check both tropical and draconic charts. But I look for connections between the inner planets first, the Sun and Moon being first of course. If they fall in the 5 or 7th house. If they make contact with the descendant or Ascendant. I also look at the NN, to access whats going on spiritually, tells you the undercurrents to the relationship. The signs tell you the energies that you share, and set the tone for your relationship. I also look at the Vertex with Romantic relationships. Then you have to drop it all. Look into that persons eyes, and assess exactly what you feel from your energy interchange. Allow your intuition to seal the deal. Astrology is just a road map, but you must decide your destination. IP: Logged

But it is a strong connection, because at the very least it does share the same sign meaning that regardless of what, when and how the energy is still compatible.
