So it is that time of the year again, with my birthday falling near the eclipse. I've been look at this since last February and all the chironic stuff looks a little daunting. Any outside opinions?

As the Leo rules your 11th and is conjunct the Sun, this seems a positive time to meet friends and do 11th house activities.

Chiron is a double edged sword- it drags it's pain along with it everywhere it goes, but it teaches invaluable lessons that not everyone gets the chance to learn. My best friend/soul sister has been having Chiron square after Chiron square this year, and it's been rough for her- but I can CLEARLY see how she is growing as a person! It's kind of beautiful, really.

Chiron conjunct Jupiter may make you feel a little like an outsider this year, but it also helps you to resonate with your internal world more soundly. As Coffee said, with Leo ruling your 11th house pulling in your Sun, this could be a great time to meet new friends unlike any you've ever had before.

I've also read that Chiron/Neptune conjunctions (natally, by transit, or SR) open up serious doorways to "knowing" Neptune. Having Neptune thrown in the mix w/ your Chiron/Jupiter will help assure the struggles you go through will NOT be trivial, but (if utilized properly) a path to a new perception of the divine. Lucky you!

I see a yod or golden finger between Sun and Mercury with Pluto and Neptune in the 3rd and 4th houses. Since the tip or apex is in the 9th house, ninth house matters maybe heightened this year with a dilemma of everyday matters getting in the way (3rd) and issues with the home (4th).
