is there certain aspects to a certain planet, or is it a house, that show what you unfavorably attract?

e.g. if you are attracted to taurus, but you attract Sagittarius often, but you do NOT like Sagittarius types, where should one look in a chart to find this?

Should be a few places. 7th house will be what type of partners you attract, for good or bad. I guess negative aspects to the 7th ruler in more detail. Positive aspects to Uranus - the freedom fighter type, one in a group. Negative aspects: rebellious, group-orientated type people.

I got some positive aspects to my 7th, with a square to Neptune. Cant really think what Neptunian types I attract. Most likely drug users/escapists and 12th house people. Not been with any criminals yet.

I have Sun/Mercury/Jupiter in 7th all square Uranus but trine Neptune. Venus is there with no aspects to either. I have definitely attracted attractive rebels and some dreamers. I can’t decide which is worst.

Also aspects to Venus can show who you attract.

My DSC is in Sag, Jupiter in Aries in the 11th, Uranus conjunct Saturn conjunct DSC in 7th, Neptune in 7th, Venus square Uranus/Saturn, Venus square Mars (wide orb).

I either attract unreliable d-bags or really sweet dreamy guys that are a little too clingy. F my life. Also guys with Venus in Aquarius or Venus in Sagittarius.

i am not sure if there is any pattern in who i attract, but among others at times i seem to attract guys who are... not to sound arrogant, but no match for me? like guys who's world is so different from mine that they cannot possibly even carry a conversation with me. they see me as beautiful and unreachable (which is not truuuee) and admire me, and they try to... they try. it's always strange when that happens.

i have my chart ruler Jupiter in my 7th. it's opposing my 7th house ruler Mercury in the 1st. there's also BML conjunct (5 deg.) Jupiter, exactly opposing Sun. Venus is in the 1st conjunct Neptune. and oh no, Uranus is in the 11th house square Mars in the 8th and inconjunct moon!

I think that there's often a pattern about attracting certain type of people to ourselves. Basically:

- we attract people who are similar to ourselves in some way;
- our own actions influences what type of people we attract;
- we might attract people who we allow ourselves to attract (this is often kinda problematic, coz sometimes people aren't really conscious why they allow this).

Being conscious about these is important, coz we can understand what kind of signals we are sending off, so that we can understand why we attract certain types of people. When you know what you want and you're firm about it, you will filter the people you'd attract.

Personally, I have Pisces DC, and Neptune (DC ruler) squares Sun. I attract people who are also dreamers in some way. I don't really attract psychos thought. My filter is kinda firm, so that I have no problems attracting the right people, although it would also mean that I only attract few people to my life. ^_~;

I have my Descendant in Pisces...and I always seem to attract the most unusual individuals. I don't think that I've had a someone that's been attracted to me that didn't have an obsession with those Japanese cartoon things, that wasn't seriously socially awkward, or that I have actually been attracted to.

And generally, they've all had serious self-esteem issues that I find exceedingly difficult to deal with.

I have...
Descendant in Pisces
Sun in the 7th (Aries)
Neptune in the 4th (Capricorn)
Neptune square Sun
Sun square Saturn (Capricorn, 4th House)
Sun sextile Mars (Aquarius, 5th House)
Neptune trine Mercury (Taurus, 8th House)
Neptune conjunct Uranus (Capricorn, 4th House)
Neptune sextile Pluto (Scorpio, 2nd House)

I also have Venus in Pisces (6th House) square Moon (Sagittarius, 3rd House), sextile Uranus and Neptune, trine Pluto and Jupiter (Cancer, 10th House).

nove731,

I have a Pisces Descendant as well, and I'm the same way! I also attract the most unusual partners... people always ask me: "why are the guys you go out with so weird?" The funny thing is, I'm not attracted to normal people. lol I wonder why this is.

My DC also conjuncts my Moon and Mars
Square my Venus in Aries in 8th house
Trine Jupiter in Cancer in 11th

Lol, I usually just don't date...I'm never attracted to those types! And they're always girls, too (I'm gay, so this is kind of a problem, lol)!

I have the same thing, attracting guys with venus in sag, I don't even check anymore, if I talk to them for more than a month, you can almost guarentee that they have venus in sag. Oh well. Everything for a reason and all that I suppose!
