I've been experiencing quite a few difficulties in my relationship lately, and interestingly enough, these difficulties started the night of the eclipse... everything was perfect until that night... and then BOOM!

ugh... is anybody else experiencing a hit to their relationships right now? is it to do with the eclipse? and if so, how long do you think the effects could last?

A sort of romantic friend of mine cut me off the day before the eclipse. It's probably for the best anyway.

Well from what I understand, the eclipse on the 22nd will be even more potent!! I'm terrified! Things have already (very suddenly and unexpectedly) taken the turn for the worst!
Also, it's at the anaretic degree and we both have several planets in our natal charts at 29 or 28 degrees!

I'm starting to lose hope! It just happened so suddenly and unexpectedly that that's why I'm thinking it might be a direct result of the eclipse... and so, hoping that it's just temporary... like when venus went retrograde for example...

Is anyone else experiencing similar frustration??

i posted a thread about how my friendship feels like coming to an end... and although the underlying factors have been playing out, it was since the eclipse when i started feeling the need to actually do or change something.

but i don't know, is eclipse a bad thing? i would like to see that it's exposing what we have been refusing to see. and ultimately it is good for us. it's hard to look at things this way though, when it's is so emotional.

Yes, I see what you mean, and in a way that's kind of the situation I'm in right now.

But I mean could the eclipse put unnecessary pressure or tension on people, making them act uncharacteristically cold? Or just put some tension on the relationship itself? I'm not looking at it as necessarily an "end" to anything (at least I hope not) but just excess tension acting as a speed bump or "rough patch" in the road. Of course, if things do not get cleared up, it will eventually lead to that but I want to be optimistic and investigate all the outside forces and influences that could be causing the tension, first. (namely, transits and eclipses)

I've read somewhere that the last eclipse might bring to an end things/relationships that are no longer needed (that are no longer good for us, or that the paths are meant to separate).

But maybe we should put astrology aside when it comes to these matters - personally, transits or not, I see things that happens coz they have to happen anyways. For example, if a relationship is not strong enough or even meant to break, then it would happen sooner or later anyways. But if a relationship is strong enough or meant to be, the couple would still stick together even in difficult times.

That last eclipse was WEIRD!

It broke me up with my gunman and brought my FB back into my life!!!! to the point where he's said he will finish it with his gf for me LOL

Eclpises bring out things that are hidden and its about beginings and endings as well..But when something is strong and meant to be Eclipses can't break it all the way it might rock it but won't break it..

Wow your guy has so much Cancer in his chart it was hard for the Eclipse to not affect him in some way..I would like to know where the eclipse will be transitioning through his chart..

But uh I feel like you guys will weather this as well, from just glancing at your charts..Goodluck and just hold on tight until the storm blows through..

LOL Ethereal - it just sucks. I dumped my FB for this guy... now this guy runs from me out of fear of commitment and literally the day after my FB texts me LOL

etherealenlightenment, I've just noticed that you also have Virgo AC, and also the same Venus (mine is around 18ºdegrees Aries XD ).
How long have you guys been together? With so many things you guys have gone through, sometimes you and/or him might slightly lose confidence about your relationship. If both are feeling too stressed for some time, try not to talk about issues too much, and focus on enjoying the time together by doing something that you both enjoy instead. Of course we have to talk about how each other feels (it is important, and we should never avoid doing it), but maybe it's better to forget about these for a while 'till things go better first sometimes. Also, remember to be compassionate and understanding for each other too.
Having bad moments is normal in relationships, so don't worry too much about it. ^_~

haha nope. though it's a double meaning. because we built a loft in the kitchen for me to sleep in, and also i LOVE cooking and i'm constantly trying out something new with cooking (as long as my budget allows). so i find it fitting that i sleep in it. yea i moved into the kitchen recently because you know me and the Virgo couldn't stand sleeping in the same room anymore. not that we despised each other, we just need space.

so, i live in the kitchen.

oh right... my roommate (not the Virgo) has a dad who was a chef. he didn't let anyone touch objects belonging to the kitchen, so she did not grow up to be a very good cook, i must say...
