It is said by those in the know, that Jupiter might turn into a second Sun as its inner core heats up... Astrologically, that should be a good thing, more luck for the Earthers of that era ?!

My understanding is that most objects hit Jupiter because of its intense gravity, which is just one reason Earth isn't regularly bombarded by all kinds of space junk.

I don't think that I realized just how big Jupiter is until I read that that little black dot is roughly the size of the Pacific Ocean.

lol. That's probably a delayed effect from the lunar eclipse of July 8, when Mars was squaring the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction.

Also notice, on that day, July 8, there was an ocean of tears on earth (Michael Jackson memorial), and now there is an OCEAN size scar on Jupiter. Freaky.

The day that the asteroid the size of earth smashed into Jupiter was the 2nd time that Jupiter was conjunct Chiron - the wounded healer. From our perspective on earth, the conjunction was exact to the minute.

Jupiter was wounded.

I'm trying to figure out how that is a cinderella moment because according to Magi Society astrology, Jupiter conjunct Chiron is a cinderella measurement.

Any suggestions?

I just can't buy into Magi Society's stuff any more. After reading their claims about how Sedna is the most evil planet as well as their coming off like they discovered the 7th harmonics in Astrology, I find it hard to take them seriously.

I also feel that all they do is cherry pick. Chiron is the only centaur that they use, but they haven't bothered to use all the other named centaurs that number over a dozen. Not even Chariklo named after Chiron's wife. Not even Okyrhoe, named after their daughter. These objects were discovered before Sedna was discovered.

here is some stuff that Philip Sedgwick wrote in regards to Jupiter being hit

Yeah, I'm thinking Magi is kind of full of it too.
The language alone turns me off - feels very fatalistic and set in stone. Like an astrological infomercial at times.

You two are making me laugh - in a good way - because we're all up so late and because I agree with you both about Magi Society and their fear mongering. And Raymond, you're so right about their recent 7th Harmonic stuff, I peeped that and was like "WHAT????!!!!"

...but, in my own "incomplete" research so far, I've noticed a few things about some of their synastry connections with Chiron seems to be true.

They sometimes remind me of Whoopi Goldbergs character in the movie "Ghost" where she's really a fake psychic, but then all of a sudden she really ends up channeling by surprise.

They also remind me of the saying, "Even a broken clock is right twice a day." I find that they come across as very immature (thereby explaining their fear of Saturn and other points in the chart that are difficult). Of course there are difficult energies associated with certain planets, bodies and points in a chart, but they do tend to demonize them beyond all recognition.

But I don't want to throw the baby out with the stinky, dirty, swampy bathwater. LOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLOOOOOOLLL!!!!

I better go to bed, I'm getting silly.

Goodnight you two, thanks for playing with me and I'm grateful for your responses.

GeoCosmicValentine, my take on it is that the Cinderella concept is a fairy tale, and life unfortunately does not live up to the fairy tale for most people.

IMO the Magi interpretation is missing out on the notion that Chiron as the wounded healer represents our ultra romantic idea that there is someone out there who can heal us, SAVE us, and make us whole. That's why romantic relationships can be so painful because very few people can save us and heal us and make us whole.

Still imo, Magi astrology has it right when it speaks of the supreme importance of Chiron when it comes to romance. Chiron's natal placements will tell you if your romantic aspirations are likely to be fulfilled. I have seen it time and time again that those with adverse natal aspects to Chiron (square or opposition with Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, or Uranus) experience incredible heartbreaks in romantic relationships.

Also let's not forget that perhaps the only reason Chiron was able to make a dent in Jupiter's chink is because of Jupiter's current conjunction with Neptune. Neptune has been called the Great Dissolver.

I wonder what other configurations that the people with adverse Chiron aspects have.

I also wonder if people with adverse Chariklo aspects can also suffer heartbreak in relationships.
