I don't know if it has been Pluto entering my first house or Saturn transiting my stellium but I was VERRRRRRY unhappy last summer and clinically depressed the holiday season/winter just before last summer. I don't know if it was Saturn on the Merc but I basically dropped out of college for quite a few semesters because I couldn't THINK anymore and I was miserable. I'm not miserable anymore, but I can't say that I am happy either. Before all of that happened I was optimistic almost all of the time for years and years.

I am searching now...
I don't know what I can do for work.
I don't know what kind of relationships I should be in.
I don't know what will get me focused on the positive again.
And many more unknowns... and wishes for things like positive and intelligent friends to get together with for walks etc.

I feel so lonely and just blah all of the time anymore. I started smoking last summer and have had five drinks the last 3 times I went out, instead of one or two. I need some insight, a kick in the butt, some direction, a miracle...

So, please analyze me. And don't worry you will offend me. I almost WANT to be offended because my life has been so devoid of intellectual stimulation and interaction. I am thirsting for growth and new energy to challenge this old, stale, sad energy. I finally figured out how to post the chart and included the transits, like a good girl.

What do you see, my wise friends?

MM;
I am not good at reading transits.
Transit Pluto in my 1 st house also and I have been in Saturn Return and Mars was Retro for 4-5 months..
Nearly I became crazy..From the 2009 September my life will altered..Firstly I lost my balance in job and relations,I had big issues with family especially with my father and my promotion is not occured and I came to point resign 2 times(uranus and mars)..Then for last 2 months suddenly I began to care spiritualism and I found a new way..
Anyway..Your chart is so small
Take care..

Melody, you had a space somewhere in there - I see you removed it now, so using the [img] tags should work.

I look at your natal and you have so many positive aspects to Saturn (your chart ruler)- it's amazing! I wish I had those! Methinks all you need is to get out of where you are and live someplace maybe more urban or something. It's hard finding like minded people. I know it. It took me years to get settled where I am and I still don't feel comfortable with my surroundings. Change in scenery always helps. I know you are in a difficult living situation...
My advice is - move away.
Sorry, I have no astrological advice. Just wanted to tell you that I hear you.

changchiu, I fixed it. Well, I'm not necessarily interested in the transits. I just included them in case someone wanted them. I am more interested in the natal chart being interpreted. I need some direction because every time I think I have chosen the proper direction for myself, it seems to sputter out or go awry. I'm sorry to hear that Pluto is causing you some issues as well. Maybe you will find some bits of Truth here as well. I just want to put everything out there and hope for some answers inspired by the Knowledge and Wisdom of The Universe... because my very own cup of ocean isn't cutting it. I want to connect to the oceans around me and get a bigger picture from The Whole.

Hi Yin ♥ What does it mean to have positive aspects to my chart ruler? And what about the opposition to Jup and Neptune? Does that mean I delude myself on a regular basis?
I'm not sure moving is possible, but I am ready now should the opportunity present itself. Before I resisted because I didn't want to leave the home my daughter was born and grew up in. I'll just need a good saw to remove the wall with the marks and dates as she grew.

What I know is that they are no stressful aspects when it comes to Jupiter.
I really don't know about the opposition to Neptune but it's involved with Jupiter so it should be good, right?
LOL.

Jeez, MM, so much of what you say reminds me of what I've been going through, it's spooky.

Methinks it's the Saturn and it's been going thru these critical houses the past few years (7th, 8th). I'm thinking once it really hits your 9th you might go back to school if you haven't already.

The Pluto stuff seems hard
On your asc though, I would think this gives tremendous power, as well as power struggles, because as it opposes the 7th house it would do that. On your moon it might bring mom issues.

Wish I knew more. I'm in my afternoon slump right now though, so maybe once that passes I might see more.

Transiting Pluto
Squaring your Sun
from the 12th..

Mel..

I don't like to reduce a
complex problem to something
as trite as "Just Pray"

Nonetheless,
that's the best advice I can give.

Find a quiet place...
Take ten deep breaths...
Count to a billion...

Okay, don't count to a billion.
Just take some deep breaths.

Try to listen for something good,
feel something good...

Tell yourself that you love yourself.
Whatever your situation, you're loved.

Breathe...

Can you feel it?

The Presence

Let it settle..

Settle into it;
a warm, rejuvenating bath
for the Spirit...

Deep breath...

Eyes closed...

This is the place
where strength comes from.

Now is the time
to visit with Spirit.

You are so protected,
You are so loved,
So understood,
So looked out for...

This is the moment to remember
that everything you've gone through,
every smile you cracked, every tear you shed,
has been recorded by wise and compassionate angels.

This is not fantasy, but attunement
to a reality which exists, and will exist,
long after this world has been forgotten.

Hold your child,
count your blessings,
explore your interests.

I'll talk to you soon.

AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, Sun square Pluto...oh god, I hated it.
I agree with Valus to pray... or meditate, or whatever you want to call it.
Having someone who loves you and whom you love is paramount during this transit. I know when I went through mine I felt I had 'no one'...I feel this transit can do that in a way, make you think you have no one, even when you do.

Yin ♥ I think my previous happiness was due to Jupiter hitting my AC and moon, but now he is gone.

MyVirgoMask, you too? Do you have a lot in Virgo? Maybe it is Saturn getting us both. I wish I knew how to better make use of the energy. I have to go back to school this fall. It is costing me about a grand to defer or whatever the word is when you have to pay the interest, to put it off until this fall. I wonder if Saturn will be in the 9th that many months from now?

MM, no, I just have a Virgo sun, and early Libra stuff. Saturn's just moved off my Sun and is now conjunct my Pluto ...I already have that as an exact square in my chart and it seems to be bringing it out or something.
It's about to mess with my Libra stellium/Pluto/Mercury. In general Saturn's just been causing all kinds of nasty stuff in my chart, all the aspects being hard, and of course whatever Saturn squares in my chart is going to set off my Pluto unfortunately.

I think it's just the mess of having recovered from it and having it hit all over again which is driving me koo koo lol

Hmm, which part do you mean? The Saturn conjunct sun was for about 2 years. At the same time Uranus was opposing my sun as well.

MM, have you read anything by Doreen Virtue? I find her work on angels very uplifting, despite my own black-ish mood as of late.

Also, and I don't remember who on this site recommended her work, or maybe I saw it elsewhere, but Florence Scovell Shinn wrote some good stuff in the Game of Life.

I'm always a proponent of uplifting reading. But I liked Valus' words and I agree.

I wrote down the authors but I'm getting to the point again where I don't even want to deal with taking stuff out of the library and then worrying about returning it. It seems I have all I can handle as it is... I was reading these Survival Tips for a Pluto Transit and it described it well when it said you feel overwhelmed with what you have to do and feel like you can't handle the simplest things etc. It says not to take on anything extra at all and that's about how I feel right now. If the book fairy dropped off the books or if there were excerpts online, I would read some.

I tried relaxing last night, laying down early and deep breathing. I felt the rush of peace and warmth wash over me but I didn't get any answers, I don't think. I had this weird dream this morning where I had to climb this precarious thin road (that was like climbing up a slide backwards)that was made of dried mud or ice covered in mud or something just stable enough to climb (though not in reality) but feeling as if it would break/crumble at any time and parts of it were crumbling as I climbed. I had a companion and he seemed to be there to watch over me and protect me, yet he watched me furiously climb the road (I knew I had to go that way) and when I finally got to the top, I saw an intricate tree home that my love/husband-to-be had built for us that was really just piles of things placed on one long branch. A couple of the things were coins or something similar that had... well, you know those hard fungus things that grow on trees and look like fairy steps for a ladder up the side of the tree... those things growing on the coin things. My friend/guardian/companion mentioned that he (the dubious "husband to be") must have worked on those for a long time, and later in the dream I found myself nervously breaking them off in my hand as I stood waiting fearfully for him to arrive. There was an element of fear fading in and out since before the creepy "road" and it was something of an action/adventure/horror dream before that.
I don't know... there was a lot more to it and it is fading away...

I know what the living in the tree thing symbolizes because it was immediately a favorite song and was pretty much playing in my head as I typed the dream.

Lyrics to "Trees" by Marty Casey and The Lovehammers

I don't wanna go through this life
Without you by my side
And I got it all worked out
In my head here's how it's got to be

It'll be you and me
Up in the trees
And the forest will give us the answer
It'll be you and I
Up in the sky
It's a combination for disaster

We, we make believe
In a world we rule together
We can build our dreams
With a knot tied tight to last forever

It'll be you and me
Up in the trees
And the forest will give us the answer
It'll be you and I
Up in the sky
It's a combination for disaster

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah
We got one shot
So let's use our imaginations
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah
You're all that I got
So where do we go from here

It'll be you and me
Up in the trees
And the forest will give us the answer
It'll be you and I
Up in the sky
It's a combination for disaster

I know there's more for us in this life
If we hold on, if we hold strong
I know there's more for us in this life
Can we hold on, can we hold on

The free report of your daily transits in CafeAstrology can offer some general insights. One of my mentor's simple words of "This too shall pass" always remained with me for some reason during my recent Saturn 7 transformation. You are already a strong mentor and leader and beautiful soul. You are also very wise to seek support. I personally think the good side is that Pluto allows us the experience our wholeness by exposing us to what we have repressed, denied, etc... I found myself delving into the great mystics like St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila, & Meister Eckhart. Spiritual Alchemy is basically the unification of opposites, a very Libran form of mastery. It's bringing what's ugly and dark in your soul to light and transmuting what you thought was useless and awful to gold. It's knowing that what you don't like in someone else is actually a trait that you also possess. You will come to terms with your full ownership of these traits. It is very liberating and allows transcendance over judgement. Especially self judgement. It's extra important to pay no attention to toxic, manipulative people and to firmly set your boundaries. Especially if you have always been a people pleaser and a kind person. Creative types naturally need extra psychic protection from energy draining types. As you know, self-care like good nutrition and stress reduction will help power you through. You are quite excellent with your music therapy and spiritual reading already. I have great Faith in you. I make my own bath salts with 50/50 Epsom/Dead Sea Salts and pure essential oils. I'd buy myself an I-sopod isolation chamber if I could afford one. An independent bookstore might be a good place to meet intellectual types. Lastly, always believe that life's challenges are necessary and fitting.

mermaid, you are something special. ♥ I think I will try to focus on maintaining my health first. It is nice enough out to spend some time walking and gardening and I will make some grocery lists and some plans for healthy changes. I really have NOT been eating well and was drinking a lot of pop again in addition to the smoking I started last summer. I am going to focus on health matters first. I do read from 3 daily message books and that helps sometimes.

But, I didn't want to complain so much as have myself analyzed astrologically to see if there are any trends I should be aware of.
, and any direction that I might do well to follow, and anything to look out for that is sort of an Achilles heel type of aspect. Your words mean so much to me... I just don't want to become a whiner. I just had never asked for input on my birth chart online so I thought I'd ask. Maybe I can find some free natal interp sites on the Free Online Readings thread in Personal Readings but I guess I've read those before and was hoping for someone who might see a general theme of danger or direction... I don't exactly know.

You probably already read this from Cafe Astrology...

Pluto transits square or opposition Sun

This transit marks a major growth period in your life in which you struggle with the buried elements of your personality and ego as you learn to accept, transform, or face them. You may be acting in a controlling, jealous, or overbearing manner which can alienate others or even push them away. This comes from a deep fear of letting go and surrendering to the idea that some things cannot be directed or controlled. As this fear surfaces, your behavior may be compulsive or obsessive; or you may experience these traits through someone close to you, especially a male. Either way, you are learning to detach yourself or let go of something, someone, or attitudes that are no longer serving you well. However, the process can be lengthy and challenging. Your higher mind may know better. You may yearn to live with a "what will be, will be" attitude, but it's very difficult to do so just yet. You may feel threatened in some way, and you might feel somewhat paranoid. This can be something you experience on a subconscious or emotional level in that you are unlikely to feel physically threatened. Instead, you might fear the loss of a significant other, a lifestyle, a job, or other significant part of your life. What you need to do is avoid turning this into a self-fulfilling prophecy. The fear itself may lead you to compulsive, suspicious, or difficult behavior; and this behavior might cost you the very thing that you hold dear. You tend to act on impulse and often don't listen to reason--even your own!

Pluto transits to the Sun challenge us to face up to unexpressed or poorly expressed traits of our Sun sign, house, and aspects. We discover our own power and strength, and we re-work our very sense of identity, which invariably affects our life path. How we have defined ourselves to date is now challenged. In some cases, women live this transit through key male figures in their lives. These transits force us to confront our will, power, assertion, and authority. Sometimes, the relationship with the father or other important male figures come into focus. We face the need to be more independent, assertive, and autonomous. Perhaps most importantly, Pluto transiting our Sun puts us face to face with exactly what it is that has been holding us back from living life more fully and meaningfully.

This transit calls you to redefine your value system and life attitudes, and generates intense energy in your life. You are likely to experience events that highlight the need to trust, let go, and have faith. You may have to deal with willfulness and issues of power and competition this year--in others and in yourself. There is an inner drama taking place, and a feeling that external circumstances are undermining your own feeling of powerfulness. In the process, you may be able to get in touch with your internal motivations. A tendency to want to control your life through some form of manipulation is strong during this influence. You may act in a more selfish or ambitious manner, and this intensity might even surprise you. Meeting with obstacles in your path, however, can force you into the position of using all of your resources to fight back, and you can discover resources you never knew you had in the process.

You are likely to emerge from this cycle perhaps feeling a little battered but certainly more in touch with your deeper needs. You may have learned to stand up for yourself or to have faith in your strength. You most likely have experienced some form of psychological transformation or rebirth of sorts.

Look for Leo in your natal chart, as the Sun rules Leo, and this is an area of life that will be directly affected by the transit (in addition to the house where the transit actually takes place).

~Power is the central issue of this transit. On one level, you may try to gain more control over other people, or they may try to gain control over your actions. At work, your boss may either give you more work and responsibilities than you think you can handle or he may insist that you do what you have promised to do in the past, but have up to now successfully avoided. Don't be contentious, although this may be your initial reaction. First try to discover how you can realistically handle the new duties; some new method of working may be called for. The transit will test your ambitions: how well you have planned your course of action, how hard you have worked in the past, how efficient you have become. Your energy is high now and needs to be directed into constructive channels rather than expended in reckless rebellion. If you are in a position of authority, don't expect others to keep up with your fast pace. You may feel like driving yourself past the breaking point, but employees or co-workers will rebel if you push them. On another, deeper level, you can use this time to gain control over your own actions. The challenge here is to understand why you do something in a particular way, not to repress those traits you don't like. Buried in your subconscious, they may smolder and suddenly burst into flame. Bring hidden facets of your character to the surface, so you can examine and understand them, then make needed changes. An aggressive approach now is not the best; try for an assertive one instead. Treat people in authority (bosses, policemen, IRS people) with velvet gloves; belligerence only brings you more problems.

But I threw it in there just in case.

MM,
What kind of classes were you taking?
Think early childhood, what brought you the most pleasure? Your Capricorn Moon is a real gem of inner strength. Think diamonds in the rough. I'm going to look deeper for you. You are not a whiner. Never, ever be afraid to call out, even when you are alone. You are never alone when you lay it all down on the altar so to speak. I had an insight yesterday about circles/cycles. Ye must be as little children...brought me the image of little children playing "ring around the rosies, ashes, ashes, we all fall down..." The game is lots of fun to them and they get right back up to do it all over again. We adults need to join hands, circle in a dizzying spin, fall and laugh... Even primitive tribal cultures have wisely preserved similar rituals via dances. Seems like 'play therapy' and 'sand box therapy' is the next big wave to cycle through again.

I spent Saturday taking my daughter to Easter Egg Hunts and Spring festivities and I enjoyed that time with her very much.
The class I was taking when I lost it was forensic science and it was a 1/2 the class long group case study of a little girl who slept all night in the arms of her dead mother who was strangled by the violent ex. It was so similar to my own situation at the time that I lost my mind a little. I passed that class though. The prof let me make it up later. The classes were originally psychology/sociology but at this major college (first 2 years were community college) I am taking classes online and they only offer classes for a basic degree online so it is broad study mostly.
Just thinking about stresses me out!
Thank you for you support. It is very valuable to me!

I didn't go to college. I have great admiration for your courage in taking those steps. I was raised by a single mom. Dad never paid child support. In retrospect, I should have spoke up how badly I desired a higher education. I should have been more honest and tried harder. There were ways to have made that possible back then. I've forgiven myself and can't go back to the past. It's never too late, so I can still step through that doorway. That dream is still alive for me. Like you, the destiny question has always loomed large for me. Now, I am clearly seeing how I have already been fulfilling it all along and that the future of that destiny is becoming more visible too. I just have to have the courage and faith to keep stepping through the doorways nicely laid out right in front of me. I am quite blessed with what potential opportunities lie ahead for me. I get equal and possibly even greater pleasure seeing great things happen for others too. What you have expressed about wanting to meet like minded friends...well this is finally happening for me and it is like a holy grail reward. I know you can achieve this too. You have asked therefore you shall receive...when & how is the great mystery. Trust the process is working.

You are certainly partial answer to that prayer. There are quite a few girls here who I dearly wish lived just down the street. But I guess you all do mentally and spiritually and that is a blessing.
I like that you see that you have been on your path all along. It means something to me to hear others say that because I have had firm faith at times that I am right where I am meant to be, and at other times I have questioned it... so it is affirming to know that there are people out there with an intellect (and wisdom) I can respect who also feel they have been on the right path even if it didn't always follow the path they had hoped for or envisioned as the right path in a "realistic" sense. I do so often feel I am right where I am supposed to be even if my life might be deemed a "failure" by a standard or superficial passing view.
I think it is wonderful that you are meeting kindred spirits in your life. Your words always feel so warm and comforting to me... very Piscean for sure. You are a small blessing in my life, so I am sure you are a major blessing to so many others who are fortunate enough to have you closer to them in their lives.
