courtesy of the sun's transit through my twelfth, i thought that i'd be great if a thread was opened on behalf of all the people here where each one would be allowed to come here and vent.. so, have at it.. post an anonymous message to another LL user (without mentioning their name) voicing out the things that you'd like to say but don't feel that you'd be able to.

========EDIT========

participate if you'd like.. some don't find the idea appealing and some of you may. the idea of the thread was for people to freely be able to open up and express themselves without keeping in mind the possibility of some sort of repercussion. apparently, some people see the thread as an extension of high school and consider this fodder for a 'slam book'.. to those people, i have already encouraged them to grow up so please, just read beyond them and move on.

one of the reasons i brought this up is because in psychology, it is actually encouraged to get in touch with a thing called FEELINGS, what ever they may be and to EXPRESS those FEELINGS without restraining oneself for the sake of others. one can get in touch with themselves and be of probably more help to anyone more than they ever imagined because they'd be given the freedom and have delved deep into their psyche. it helps to get in touch with oneself.

the majority of the people come back to the astro section and already know one another.. not only will it build trust amongst the users, it'd also probably help people actually know how one feels or thinks.. anyone ever think that it'd be a fantastic thing to be better acquainted with them before commenting on someone's chart?

i don't believe this should be moved. we're dealing with astrology and a lot of it deals with psychology. i think it'd be beneficial and no one is being forced to comment or read this. i feel far more comfortable knowing how someone thinks and possibly what they're experiencing or going through before going through a chart and making a suggestion that may in fact help them make an un-wise decision or just as easily, help them improve their current situation. it was the point of the thread. from my gathering, it's been the point of the majority of the threads here up to date. it's what i considered 'help me understand psyche conjunct sagittarius a in synastry' to be.

how can one make any sort of positive influence at all if you have little to no idea what the person is about? you'd be negligent to do so and even in one thread, not everyone can blog up an entire story of their lives. please, expand your thinking. that is all.

no, i think it's a great idea diana! it could be anonymous mean messages or it could be anonymous really sweet messages that people would leave. it'd be great.

sanchy, thats fine, you can say things like: 'i, sanchy am a complete and uber c-unt'

but it'd just be best if you said it like this: 'i, ****** am a complete and uber c-unt and secretely wish that i could have super awesome fantastic sex with The Duke but am fearful because the inherent Leo pride doesn't allow me to do so.'

see? easy as pie. i think that one can do without the '****' though.. maybe even without the screen name of the other person who will be spoken of.. it's quite simple, really.

So I need confirmation that I have complete freedom of speech on this board now. Not that I would take it to the extreme, I just need to know.

sanchy, allow me:

"ykno, i dont think i quite get you yet. i think that you're great and probably a very timid and shy person. probably very sweet. i even get the feeling that you believe that you believe you must hide for one reason or another and may be even, naturally, quite hurt. i dont know why that is but its just what im picking up from you."

see? there's one example, now here's another:

"yknow, you talk a big game.. im really not sure if you do it on purpose but today, i've been trying my hardest here to keep my hands everywhere but on myself and my friend, if you keep runnin that lip, i maybe will just teleport and screw the living daylights out of you because you're making it really hard to resist. you probably think you've been there and back but my friend, with me, you've got another thing coming. they dont call me The 'Duke nuke em' Duke for nothin. you figure it out."

haha. That was safe. Im unsafe though. No one can reach me through the ego because my ego doesn't exist anymore. I feel like a mirror. If I ****** you, I would unlock into your eyes and replace you. I never get caught either.

Why not write at least the person's sun sign (or maybe the applicable placements/aspects) to make the thread astrology-related?

I am with Diana. Very bad idea.

If you have a problem with someone, talk to them calmly and reasonably and solve the matter.

Awful ramifications.
I doubt the moderator would allow it, either.

You aren't. We've had several people banned here, though it can take a lot to push the owner of the forum to ban someone.

Sorry, but I also think this would be a bad idea.

what kind of horrible people are you guys? jesus.. what if someone wants to tell the other: hey, i think maybe you should do a little bit more research before commenting about someone's chart before you end up confusing others by your lack of knowledge..?

the thread isn't fodder for one to start using profanity or damning everybody to hell, it's a great idea. you'll see.. and soon, you'll all be sorry that you didn't see it that way and made your anonymous messages until this gets to page 3. watch.

i'll start:

hey, i think you're really funny. fun, too. man, if i could, i'd be all over that azz making you scream my name.. from laughter, in case you didn't know, there are muscles in the gluteus area that if handled the right way can be a downright hoot!

see? totally harmless.. now, to the good stuff:

hey, i've been holding this in but your signature REALLY sucks.. i have no idea why it's there to begin with and the majority of the time i just try to look beyond it but other times, i cant.. and when i cant, i find that i get aggravated and really pis-sed .. i'd really appreciate it if you went ahead an changed it because i mean seriously.. what the hell?

Why not say that to them directly? There's no guarantee they'll know who the message is directed to (that's the point of the thread, right?), so nothing will change - they'll still be offering, out of their own kindness, information that you think isn't helping.

The people above aren't horrible people - they're protective of the feelings of others.

I just don't see the point in posting this. You don't think that's horrible.

i think its great. if someone doesn't feel like hijacking a thread to give somebody a piece of their mind then they've got this.

it may even be awesome for them to use if they'd like to vent about other people who are not on the linda threads. like a family member for example.. or a co-worker or bullying boss. it's therapeutic.

I like this idea but I'll be up front cause Im not afraid and I usually don't hold any grudges cause they tire the life force out of you.

BM-You always make me laugh, your qualities remind me so much of my older sister.

Lara-I think your really foxy and fiesty<3

Ami-Your a real sweetheart never change^_^

Diablo-Your a real badarse mama-jama thank you for slapping my head on straight in the other thread I really need it.

DD and Glacaus-You guys a really astrological advance and sometimes I don't understand but I like how you guys take the time and effort to break things down and help me, you guys are very considerate and I hope one day with enough studying I will be able to understand.

Diana and Ammowls-Very free spoken and independent I like this *nods*

Belgz- You remind me of a glamour girl in a very classy and cute way, I also think one day your going to make a great mom with some day.

Valus-Very outspoken and passionate sometimes I get a lil sore but I think it is all in good nature.

Duke-I like how frank you are almost like a matter of fact tone, your responses make me giggle sometimes especially the Chunky Clam Soup but your information is very helpful.

There's more but I have to go now and make me a good ol cup of joe.

I AGREE!!

Why would people want to vent on lindaland?

This is an astrology forum and if the suns going through your 12th and you feel the need to do it, then do it privately.

Maybe someone will be kind enough to move the thread to LL central, sometimes new users do not know what the other sections are for.

When I first came here I certainly did not know x.x;
