Uranus' house will be a place that you break rules/barriers/are non conforming
Lenny Bruces's Uranus was in the 3rd house He broke rules in communication.
Speaking of that, Sanchuness, our dear friend who got excised from this sight for bad language lol, had Uranus in the 3rd, too.

I break barriers in 9th house(where Uranus is).
I do Kundalini Yoga, eat raw food, have a religious/philosophical point of view that I came to on my own through much studying.
I will open my mind to anything:think about it and then accept or reject it.
I am very free in 9th house matters unlike several other houses in which I am uptight  Ami

Considering their physical and orbital features, the centaurs and transneptunians are nonconformists too. They make Uranus look conformist. Uranus always orbits on the ecliptic while the centaurs and transneptunians tend to orbit well off the ecliptic.
Pluto's nonconformist nature tends to be overlooked by many astrologers. It puzzles me. It's a transneptunian object that orbits well off the ecliptic (up to 17 degrees away from the ecliptic),it's icy,rock, and very small that astronomers doubted that Pluto was a planet. Of course, the suspicions were increased when more objects like Pluto were found in a region known as the kuiper belt where most transneptunians are located. Scattered disk objects like Eris and detached objects like Sedna aren't part of the kuiper belt even though they are transneptunians.any ways my Uranus in 2nd = nonconformist things that I value In the 2nd house, I have Sun conjunct 2 transneptunian dwarf planet candidates Ixion and Quaoar. Therefore 3 nonconformist objects in my 2nd house. Transneptunian dwarf planet Eris in 8th is in opposition to Uranus in 2nd. Eris definitely makes Uranus look normal.
The Uranus-Eris opposition trines/sextiles my Midheaven.

5th house.love, romance, children? creativity, what else is 5th house besides sex, my personality/ego? i think this is particularly prominent in my chart because my uranus in the 5th actually trines my Sun so its effect is partciularly strong. leo is strong in my chart, Sun and ASC in leo.. sun in the 1st.. and i have possibly 2 more planets in my 5th house, so a potentially strongish 5th.
anyway.. yeah i think i am pretty unique without intending to come accross big headed about it.
i don't feel weird, what i do feel like is im very free with my interests and tastes, perhaps this is backed up by having an Air Venus in an Air house (venus in libra in the 3rd, squarre my uranus too) my tastes in things, music, films, clothes, are broad and without rules. i feel very free about about who i am and can be to my self, and to others. most people who really know and have known me see it better than i can explain it or even see it myself. Uranus is in my 12th, retrograde.I don't break barriers for the hell of it, and I'm usually not keen on standing out/attracting attention. Part of this placement may be shown in my visits to boards such as Lindaland... it might also show the fact that I'm interested in more unconventional methods in healing. (hypnosis, herbs, flower essences, etc.) Other than that, I'm not sure... Oh, and it's conjunct my ascendant. IP: Logged |

Uranus is in my 1st house.Essentially, one of the comments I get the most is: "You're just so UNIQUE..."  lol.  It conjuncts Jupiter in the 1st, so I think that helps soften it a bit and I get "unique" as opposed to "crazy" or "weird." Though I'm sure that people call me crazy or eccentric behind my back.  But yes, I break barriers with regards to who I am. I don't mind being non-conformist in the way I think about the world, and I will always give my true opinion if it is asked for, even if NO ONE else agrees with me. I am always true to myself. I am about 75 % raw/vegan.
There is a raw food store and restaurant right down the street from me.
They make incredible food.
I eat eggs, fish, and other things if I feel like them.
Usually, I prefer raw, though.
Raw gives you really good energy. x o Ami

nepthys i'm beginning to think you are my neighbour...tho i don't know how many cafe gratitudes there are, the only two i know are in SF and one mile from here where i am!i have uranus in cancer in 5th house. also aqua on the ascendant/first house. i tend to be self-directed, express myself uniquely perhaps. i nurture in a uranian way, ie not like other people but with a mind to bringing out intuition in others. in romance i can be faithful but i need my space. my ex-husband says i "think too much"! whatever that means. Uranus in third conjunct Jupiter in sag. My brother is an Aquarius with mars in sag. My aunties and uncles fit this description too one being an astrologer and the other being a reiki and yoga teacher. Also I say and do random things quite frequently
, I travel ALOT and I love to shock or surprise when I talk too I believe in freedom of speech and when I was in year 3 and 4 I skipped because my teachers found that I was already developed in my grades skills and I completed my hsc by age 15. In high school I got expelled 3 times and always did completely the opposite of what I was told to do. If I do something it has to be from my own free will or I will not get up and do it SIMPLE! Even things like cleaning my room if I get told to do it I won't do it I don't care how badly I get beat up by my parents Inothing can make me do it. I don't care who anyone is in this world I don't do what THEY want I always make my own decisions and freedom is very important for me and it goes for other people as well. I love free crazy people lol no rules no boundaries just FREE. Most of my friends are like that and are people who don't whinge about work or relationship commitments. I don't see myself as stubborn either when I don't do what I'm told I just see it as if someone has told me to do it I don't really deserve credit for whatever it is and I believe I should do things when I want. I have Uranus conjunct Jupiter in the 10th house, well aspected. I'm not one of the sheeps in the herd, but I'm not a rebel for the sake of rebellion, either. I just like to do things how I want them, when I want them. The choice of my career was a surprise to many, because I was into something else when I started studying for my residency exam. It gives me an interest in scientific research, usually about topics that haven't been studied much. I did that for my licence exam, an experiment that only 2 people in the world wrote about, but even that wasn't original enough, I chose a different substance and got positive results.
I'm also one that talks back to my superiors, if their attitude or behaviour towards me becomes too restricting. So far, there haven't been consequences, they view me as a breath of fresh air (probably because Jupiter is also there).
I usually don't follow trends unless I really like them. I don't submit to peer pressure. ------------------

I'm not much of one for trends, either. I went through the dreaded perm stage, but that's about it. I've argued with authority figures, too- surprising them, since I was otherwise good/quiet. Uranus opposes my Sun, trines my Mars (ruler of my Sun), and is inconjunct my Moon, Venus and South Node... quote:

Uranus in sixth in Sagittarius conjunct Saturn with a 1 degree orb...and create one helluva mix/upheaval/mishagosh/keninigen in the way I approach work. Saturn demands discipline and Uranus is the quintessential rebel, so, GO FIGURE!Poor ol' man Saturn's stern ice gets blasted by Uranian lightning-bolts but the two planets manage to create quite a martini...Saturn can be shaken but not stirred  ------------------

I think that you would be better off self-employed.
I think Midheaven involving the hard aspects involving objects orbiting beyond Saturn would be better off self employed.
The nodes are also something to consider

I formed my non profit facebook group during Sun conjunct/oppose Geocentric Uranus Nodes and Earth oppose/conjunct Heliocentric Uranus Nodes, strong Sun-Earth-Uranus Node alignment. I thought it would be great for change,reform, technology,computers,the world wide web,and unconventional/unusual people.
The Heliocentric South Uranus Node is also aligned with the Great Attractor.
Therefore, the facebook group has Earth conjunct Great Attractor. ------------------
