The current love is your Relationship Soulmate, one who may have been married to you or a lover for more than one lifeline.The previous love is at best an acquaintance/crush in just one past lifeline.
There may have been a one night stand.
The affair was to repay the few karmic debts and then move on. ------------------

Thank you, iQ.I have a few questions, though. If the affair with the previous love was to repay a few karmic debts and move on, why is it that I still feel guilty for leaving him? Does that mean we will meet again in the next life, if not this? We were together for over a decade and I am a better person now because of him. However, I also left him because I felt that there was nothing more to learn from him. He felt differently though. The relationship with the current love is a bit different. With the previous one, it was more platonic than romantic. The relationship was all about learning, and growing as a person. With the current one, it is the other way round. Right from the start, we couldn't help but to be drawn to each other. Being together seemed like a natural thing to do, almost as if we have done this in another lifetime before. He says he feels at home and safe with me. To me, the relationship represents how romantic love should be. However, our relationship seems to be lacking the "spiritualness" that is present in the previous one. Is that not a good sign? IP: Logged |

I recall the NPK Lesson from grade school.
Put too much Nitrogen, plants grow too tall to fast and die out.
Put too much Potassium or Phosphorus, and you have other anomalies.
The right balance of NPK and you have very healthy, super yielding plants.There was overkill of spirituality in the previous relationship, and so your Higher Self is balancing things for you with romance. Use the spirituality experience of the previous relationship to steadily raise the spiritual quotient of loverboy, and things will be just great a few years down the line. As for your spiritual ex, his Higher Self wants him to gain more Mojo, you don't have to feel guilty. ------------------
