I'm a very amateur fan of astrology, but I was looking at my son's chart the other day, and all the planets are concentrated in the 9th and 10th house and it struck me as significant.

He has always been a handful, with a Cappy sun, Aries rising and a Virgo moon. Not a child for the weak of heart. Fortunately, I'm a Virgo mom with an Libra rising and Aries moon--so I got it.

But is there some kind of significance when all the planets fall so closely together. Not knowing much more I would think, it is almost a life drive, i.e., I'm here to do etc.

Well, he needs to master the lessons of the 9th and 10th Houses specifically. It is likely that he has mastered Houses 1 to 8 adequately in his previous lifelines. Its lucky to have a 9th and 10th House filled chart any day. Guaranteed to be successful in any field, plus likely to see the whole world.
Aries Rising, Virgo Moon and Cappy Sun? He is likely to become a Millionaire Entrepreneur in a geeky, mathematically oriented technology field.

There will be focus on education(higher), travel, languages, other cultures, philosophy, and career, status.

It will be hard for him when anything conjuncts or squares all of that, because it will hit *all that.* I hope he is early cap, so pluto doesn't go over that when he's older.

Interesting, both replies. Parenting a teen like this is interesting. He has his direction, listens to none, but loyal to a fault.

Curious, what aspect of Pluto would be concerning? I know he must have some heavy karma because he saw his brother killed at 7, lost all his friends to violent deaths before he was 15.

Oh, forgot to mention a bizarre fact, had 2 sons, what are the odds that both were born on maternal and fraternal grandfathers birthdays? The grandfather Jan 3 that this son followed was a real jerk, as in evil jerk. Must be something karmic going on.

Hmmm, I wonder if he's had or is having the pluto transits now. What are the degrees of his planets?
