Ever meet someone, see a picture of someone, alive or dead and think, "hey I met this person before"?

My neighbor's father, who lives in another country, has never met me. But when I look at his photo, I think, I know this man's personality, his laugh, and what he smells like.

Anyone familiar with this? What's your story?
