Am feeling almost crushingly depressed in past week or so. Cannot shake it, my Saggie optimism has left the building and I am frustrated with work and relationship issues.

I know the feeling. I feel like I'm pig-tied in straight jacket at the moment, alone and frustrated. However, in my case I know it's saturn at work.

Thank you for your well wishes, yesterday was the darkest day but I got through it and contacted my human resources department about my work issue (very unencouraging male manager who has stopped my professional development with power games and insufficent support).

I ended it with my ex for the second time, I did not fall in love with him this time. I took my time to see if this would work and it didn't but I can let that one go.

I am not sure how to post my chart :-(

This must be a saturn thing? feel so oppressed and it is manifesting in physical anxiety now, not which I have before as I am a strong person.

I had a quick look at your chart, and you have saturn retrograding right over your MC. This is probably making you feel very restricted in many areas right now, especially given that saturn is your chart ruler. Good news is that saturn turns direct in early june sometime so i think things should start to gain more momentum and you will probably start feeling less flat and more like you are moving in a positive direction. Your tenth is ruled by venus so this cant be helping anything in the relationship realm. Also your natal venus is also in the tenth at 17degrees libra, so in a few months saturn will hit that also. So perhaps as far as the job hassles go, i think you will find towards the end of june things will be better, but as far as relationships go it may still be a bit of a rough ride, or this saturn-venus transit may bring on a very solid and stable long term partnership.

Things will feel better when saturn turns direct though. You also have transiting uranus directly opposite natal mars. This is the type of transit that makes you want to express your individuality and break free of restrictions, so collectively with saturn hovering over your MC you are probably feeling very restricted.

You will start feeling better come mid june ever thought about living overseas?

Thank you so much for taking the time for looking at my chart, much appreciated:-) Gosh, yes, all you described is how I feel, repressed, oppressed and restricted. The relationship is where I feel like tearing it all down but that will only make things worse and my ex is leaving for mexico on 3 june.

I would LOVE to live overseas and have done in the past. I travel as part of my job and love it. With the right partner I would happily move somewhere abroad (all my partners have been international so i guess i will end up with one??!)

thank you for listening, it helps to have a forum in which people don't have to feel so alone.

Yes I am seeing somone (for work related issues) but I am normally independent and get through it but yes, sometimes we do need help. I thought Aries would help but it seems brutal right now....

Have booked to see a counsellor/therapist soon so happy about that as this pressure I feel is not going away. I spoke to my sister about visiting her in Canada and suddenly my mum is coming too! I feel like control is out of my hands as I had wanted to see my sister in toronto then go to new york to see a friend but now I cant do any of that as my mum is coming. I feel like i need to lighten up but am finding it impossible and feel on the verge of panic attack.

Going to see someone to talk it all through is definitely a great thing to do. It helped me alot.

Am actually living in London (my family is Aussie) but grew up here. Yes, flights booked to Canada end of June. It will be great to see the kids and family. Are you in Australia?

My ex bf asked me last night after I told him i was going to canada, why I was not going to mexico to see him? this totally surprised me as he had not seemed keen when I suggested i visit mexico this summer. Typical macho guy stuff! Not showing any enthusiasm, then dissapointed when i choose somewhere else.

I love the phrase "this too shall pass". Especially during dark periods. :-)
