I have been studying wedding charts and would like you guys to post your own wedding or first meeting charts, or those of ones close to you. You can post a wedding photo with the chart as well, I will be with mine.One thing I've noticed is an obvious connection with Venus and the Sun and Moon.
I will start with the event chart I pulled up for the date and time of my parents wedding and their wedding photo(it was about 2 and a half weeks before I turned 2 years old. My mom was 7 months pregnant with my sister).
What I find to be significant is the N.Node in the 1st house, the Moon in the 5th house, Venus ruling the DC, Venus in Leo. This altogether indicates a day of fun, romance, and celebration. Definitely good planetary energy for a wedding.
There are some interesting house overlays between my parents natal charts and the houses of their wedding chart,
My dad's are all involving the angles...The wedding ASC is conjunct my his IC, and the wedding's DC is conjunct my his MC.
The wedding DC is in my mom's 5th house. The cusp of the 5th house in the wedding chart was conjunct my mom's IC. As for transits and progressions for that date...
For my dad: The Sun and Mercury were transiting his 1st house. The Sun was conjunct his natal Moon (7 degrees) and Ascendant (8 degrees). The Sun and Mercury were both sextile his natal Sun.
Transiting Pluto was conjunct his IC (2 degrees) so opposite his MC.
Transiting Moon was in his 8th house.
His solar arc Ascendant and Moon were conjunct in his natal second house.
Solar arc Venus and Jupiter were conjunct, passing over his natal 3rd house/Scorpio stellium.
My mom...
Venus was transiting her 8th house, making a trine aspect to her natal Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Neptune, Chiron, and ASC.
Mars and Jupiter were transiting her 9th house, making a trine aspect to her Venus, and was conjunct her Uranus and her Midheaven. The solar arc Neptune and Jupiter were in her natal first house, conjunct her natal Mars. Their composite transits
Transiting Venus was conjunct their composite MC. As soon as I can scan the wedding photo, I will share the wedding chart of my boyfriend's grandparents. I would hate to start theirs without sharing with you their classic, elegant wedding photo! Can't wait to see all of your wedding charts! If you are not married but are in a significant relationship, you can either post your first meeting chart, the chart of your first date, an anniversary, or the most significant day of your relationship. Maybe I can guess what happend to make it significant?

Venus transiting my mom's 8th house, and the Moon transiting my dad's 8th house makes so much sense to me. With the 8th house ruling shared resources, and other people's money...this tells of a combining of love and/or relationship and finance/money or resources. I am going to add a bit more information on this subject and maybe then I will strike the interest in somebody...
I am just itching to discuss the wedding of my boyfriend's grandparents. All the transits to their individual charts and their composite, then of course their wedding chart as just so classic for a perfect wedding...at least in my opinion, anyway. But I would hate to share it without their beautiful wedding photo. Absolutely classic, I just can't say it enough...
So I am going to discuss the chart for my boyfriend and I....
I am not married, but I am in a significant relationship and have been for a few years now. We are not married but I have a chart built for the day and time he asked me out I am so happy with him, and him with me. I am really young but I don't see myself with anybody else. I realize all young couples say that but it's just different with us. We are both really grown up, mature individuals. We respect each other and each others lives and values. We don't act like others our age. In short--we both seem like old souls, at least that's how others describe us and our relationship (2 different psychics even said that about him! One of those psychics had said we had been together for centuries and will always mean a lot to one another). I remember the day I met him I was instantly attracted to him. It wasn't even just physical attraction, I sure felt as if I knew him. My heart stopped for some reason (although I usually get nervous around new people anyways, I am very shy).
His smile and his eyes were familiar.
And the day he asked me out, happiest day of my life, nerve racking but still happy
Now we are in love and still the best of friends. Of course there are the days we bicker and annoy each other, but based on failed relationships/marriages I've seen...couple don't last when there's no arguments or disagreements; usually there's either somebody lying or one is being pushed around--too scared to speak their mind. Anyway,
In the chart I made for the date and time we first dated (also the same time we had our fist kiss  )... The ASC was at 0 degrees Cancer, the IC 20 degrees of Leo, DC at 0 degrees Cancer, and MC 20 degrees of Aquarius.
So the IC was conjunct my Venus, and the IC was conjunct my Moon.
The Sun, Moon, and Mercury were all conjunct my Mars.
The MC was trine his Sun, Mars, and ASC.
The Sun, Mercury, and Mars were conjunct his Sun, Mars, and ASC.
Haha this one makes me smile, Jupiter was sextile his Moon...maybe he was feeling "lucky" that night. (Nothing like "that" happend right away though lol!) So here is the chart (for the date/time he asked me out)

Soothsayer, I'm not married but am interested in this topic. Could you post your parents' natal charts so that those of us still learning can see whether or not house rulers are always significant in the timing of marriage? Also, can you include Juno in the charts?IP: Logged |

(Weird, my dad and I share the same Juno house and sign placement [we also have the same ASC and DC...makes a lot of sense as I look like him especially when I was a kid and we are very similar] that's cool)

soothsayer I know this isn't of any help to you but I know someone with the exact same chart as your parents wedding he was actually born the day before ...also I saw your chart on another post and you have the same birthday as my brother weird. :PIP: Logged |

So, this is what I see so far (a little confusing too): your mom's Sun trines her Jupiter and Neptune. Both point to your dad in that Neptune rules his 7H and Jupiter is placed in his 3H- Gemini on your mom's 7HC traditionally rules the 3H. Your dad's Neptune is in his 4H and your mom's Jupiter is there with it in a loose conjunction, as well as her Neptune.The Sun traditionally signifies the spouse in a woman's chart. Your mom's Sun is in her 3H, the traditional house of Gemini/Mercury, where your dad's Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter are all located in his natal chart. Your mom has Pisces on her 3HC and your dad on his 7HC, pointing to him again. Your mom's Juno in her 6H, Virgo's traditional house, and your dad's ASC is in Virgo, conjunct his Moon. So, your mom's spouse was going to have Mercury prominent. Are they quite chatty with each other? Sorry if this confusing, but I'm basically on vampire hours and my brain is not my own. No worries, that's the mode I've been on for the last 4 days. But no, it wasn't that confusing Yes they are very chatty. They are different in means of expression but similar in other ways. They definitely stimulate one another in conversation. My mom's a big more talkative than my dad, my dad's actually quite reserved (Virgo ASC) but she brings out his intelligence through their conversations.
It's quite the experience to listen to them argue. Funny actually. As long as it doesn't get too aggressive (VERBALLY only of course, never physically...my dad's lucky :P) IP: Logged |
