Hi guys, this is a weird story, but i hope it can shed light for some and clarify for me as well if somebody has a different opinionabout two weeks ago i met on internet a man who from the picture looked like my type. there were many things that attracted me from him, but when talking i realized that we shared similar energies, fears, and as mars in cancer some of the same insecurities. my venus trine his moon so the connection was there. our composite pluto conjunct venus, so there was a compelling need there of get to know each other that ended up in long telephone calls where none of us wanted to hang up. i did not like much his beign as fearful as i am as I am always looks for men who are more daring, so the can inspire me. i dont like when i need to inspire a man to be less fearful. yesterday i met him in person and his physical appeareance was not at all my type, so all the attraction vanished. still, the emotional connection is there and i feel that, but cannot be attracted physically, but has some longing. it is strange. the same things happened to me in the past with another mars in cancer. this time, his mars conjunct my venus in cancer. again, same thing. i did not feel atracted physically to him. i have noticed that men i have been attracted physiucally has mars in leo sometimes it sextile my moon, but sometimes it doesn.t. sometimes i has a semisquare to my venus. in any case. mars in leo fall in my 4th. i dont have any planet in leo.

There's a thread going on over on the Astrodienst board about synastry and this exact type of thing was mentioned, how things that, at first glance, appear to indicate compatibility (like planets in the same signs), doesn't always work out that way - namely because, people need a few harsh aspects and planets in different signs for some type of sparks to happen, otherwise things get really boring.And yes, I know that was the run-on sentence from hell. Well I have a similar situation except it has to do with men I'm attracted to not feeling Airy enough and not having the Air connection. It's crazy nothing gets me going like a man with Airy planets. Fire doesn't even do it for me and I have Venus in Leo and Mars in Aries. Like when I'm around Arian or Leonine men I feel the heat but it's not enough. No offense to them, their amazing but I need Air to keep fueling that fire. I mean you can feel heat with anybody, but Airy people make me MAD with passion. There's nothing wrong with being aware of yourself and figuring out through trial and error what works for you. If having a physical attraction is important to you then definitely look for that when meeting people. For me it's Air, and I always know, I can spot an Air sign from 20 miles away.

Now that the element is mentioned it makes sense, the two people i mentioned in my post lack fire and i have just one planet in fire saturn in aries and...more important... node in aries.i have been intensily attracted to leo mars even if there is no more fire in the chart. so probably mars must be in fire for me to feel the spark IP: Logged | |
