take a look at your chart, and go by each house keeping a tally on that separate e-sheet but for the decans of each house (which are divided by 10 degrees each)..

for ex. PERSON has 2 planets in leo(from 0-10º),
2 in sagittarius (from 20-30º)
and one in aries (10-20º)

common decan is LEO, so, you'd tally:

well, i wanted to see which houses were the one's that were most prominent... or which planets proved to have much more influence over the entire chart overall before then taking those outcomes to look at the things that have happened in your life, the things dealt with, the people that one attracts, or is attracted to; interacts, their aspects and how significant in our life they are...

but most importantly, it answers that 'why?'..

ok so you would tally that up to the sign of pisces

and go on to the next planet (or axis, in this case) and find the decan 12 taurus

since that decan of taurus is ruled by virgo, it has the influence of mercury (which would give a tally to virgo and if you'd like, also gemini)

so (*USING FRANKIE'S EXAMPLE*) one might be left with something similar to this (it'll vary chart to chart)

but with the other one's..

each sign being divided by 3; a planet, axis line, any of it may be in the sign but, take the divisions of the decans and take note as to which one's are being activated.

what planet rules the sign of the active decan? once that's been discovered, go and tally it up for the respective sign.

I understand the first part about signs.. e.g. Mercury in Pisces at 18 deg is in the Moon (Cancer) decan!

for ex:

jupiter in pisces 14º = decan: ->
Moon (Cancer) --(since the moon only rules that sing, it'll tally Cancer |)

once and if that process is understood, you can then go on from there.. if you have a house that has so much influence over the decans; those planets add more importance to the house in the chart because in effect, they have to report back to 'home base'...

i have a feeling that after this, 'chart ruler' will indeed be known for aeons to come, that 'chart ruler' is a different ruler entirely on it's own and i, think we'll find it!

Okay! Alls I did was look at what decan each planet was in.
Then I put a tally under the planet ruling that decan.

For example: My Sun is at 15° Scorpio. So, it is in the Neptune decan and I put a tally under Neptune.
My Saturn is at 5° Pisces, so I put another tally under Neptune.

Then so on until I had all 10 planets tallied. C:

well, i have been blown away and i'm glad that i looked into this...

scorpy, with the mercury thing... that means you have mercury calling the shots on all those 4 planets and ironically, it's in it's decan itself.. so, your finances, self-worth/2nd house themes/public standing in the world/career and everything else that mercury laid claim to, are interrelated; as that mercury defines how those improves... and the relationship with the other planets, yes, those may also in turn help them improve so keep an eye out for what transits or synastry/composites.. you'll find something, maybe.

this new moon eclipse occurs in early sag opposing your midheaveneth and the axis is influenced by mercury (your midheaven) as is your home life (influenced by jupiter) and your personal relationships (it's the personal mc/ic axis in your chart) --your ascendant is under a saturn influence but with the mercury rulership overall...

even then, let's see...

mercury in libra
gemini decan
venus (ruler of libra) in scorpio
scorpip ruler in cancer decan
cancer is ruled by the moon
where's the moon?
in capricorn in the virgo decan
making a square to mercury
what rules the virgo decan?

moon conjunct uranus there,
those are very personal one's to work out.
the sooner, the better!

on/off again relationships
mom being affection then not
maybe she'd go on trips and forget you or something
or they let you do whatever you want
not really the touchey feeley one's
maybe they set no boundaries
maybe they weren't there when you wanted a hug
she may have been affection til a certain age
and then it just stopped all of a sudden
that destabilizes the self

it destabilizes your thinking
and your self-esteem
maybe you were rich and wealthy and your parents just paid no time to you because they had other things to take care of
so they just ignored you and let you do kid things, maybe.. who knows, only u do.

the result is a shaky foundation..

i guess chiron may be the key but the planet is the lock? seriously, get that mercury and in gear, pay very close attention to messages, signs, look into countries that mercury rules, food's that mercury represents, etc.. read the myths and voila, who hath opened up that door you might have not yet possibly thought about?
