My girlfriend has this placement and I've read a few things here and there on the internet, but I would like to hear some personal experience from people who have this placement or from people who have family, friends, coworker ect. with this placement.

Also I have a few questions:

1.What are you like in a relationship?

2. How do deal with your emotions?

3.How do you relate to water moons( Since I am a Pisces Moon). Are we too sensitive, whiny, do you have to walk on egg shells, or you don't understand WTF were on about lol.)

I dated one for a year.

They're pretty straight up guys, that don't really beat around the bush. Quite confident and self assured, energetic and upbeat BUT very emotionally immature at times, tends to be very impulsive and blow up easily. Easily angered and says impulsive things they don't even mean. At times their boyishness is cute though. Told me he loved me too fast and eventually proposed. They're go getters (depends on rest of chart though lol) and they are not one to really give up easily.

I don't think aries moon would go well with a pisces moon. Aries moon needs someone more straight forward and tough. Pisces are at times too wishy washy. Depends on rest of chart though. I have a libra moon (aries rising)

Lunar Aries Here:

In relationships I'm pretty carefree. I don't have expectations I kind of let things unfold. I'm silly and need to be able to express myself. I'm direct and physically affectionate, but not the cuddling type or touchy-feely. I need a lot of space and freedom. I'm passionate and independent and prefer to do things on my own, but I'm willing to meet my partner half way. I also like to have tons of fun. If things get to dreary, I might scan the room for a quick exit.

As far as my emotions go, I feel things pretty intensely and I'm very passionate. My feelings can overwhelm me and I can be a bit volatile with my emotions though I try to hide that part of myself. I have to do something when I'm angry or I feel like I'm suffocating. Overall my Lunar Aries tendencies are tempered by the opposition in my chart to my Sun in Libra. I'm not a typical Aries Moon, but when the scales tip that part of myself gets exposed.

As for watery moons or placements, well I don't tend to date them. I don't do well with water signs in general in regards to relationships because I'm Airy and I like to detach, however I'm not closed off to that potential. Of the few watery moons I've known they do tend to be very emotional which can be to much for me because emotional people drain me. I think they can internalize everything which isn't healthy. I enjoy people that are carefree and not so touchy. I actually think I'm misunderstood by water and earth signs in general because I'm erratic and unpredictable but I'm also nice and friendly. It's not hard for me to figure out water signs.

In any case you should just worry about yourself, even incompatible moon placements can find a way to make it work. I tend to think those of us with Moon in Aries are open minded and are willing to try anything at least once. My only advice is to beware with an Aries Moon placement because the Moon is not comfortable in Aries like in Pisces or the other water signs.

I have moon in pisces and I have three close friends with moon in aries and one of them is also a lover. I get them. I have moon in pisces and 5th house in aries and venus and mars in leo and sag rising so I love straight up and people who are passionate as I am the same.

The two other friends with moon in aries if they were guys we would probably be lovers too lol but they are not so we are good friends.

Depends on the age. In my 20s I liked being single but had a few relationships. I have Moon in Aries in the 12th house oppose Uranus. I love my freedom. If I'm out with friends, I like to meet them there and not go together because if I get bored and can't leave, I go batsh*t.
In my 30s now, and divorced and about to be married again ...I am very focused on my man (who is also an Aries moon) and I have a temper :P It blows up and then it's all cathartic. I yell and scream and I used to be worse, but I don't think I will ever lose that volatile nature. I laugh loudly when I'm happy, cry like a slob when I'm sad and scream like crazy when I am mad. You never have to guess what I feel in moments of heightened emotion

And yes, directness is always good. Always. I think we would prefer to be backhanded by the truth any day over being spoonfed something sugarcoated, or worse - lied to. I need my freedom but i also need to feel ADORED (probably my 5th house sun talking here too )

My moon's in the 12th and I have Neptune on the cusp there, so Pisces moons are ok to me. I think they are lovely most of the time though they can be a bit escapist at times, and also in massive denial - something which can be infuriating.

Cancer moons are a mixed bag. Honestly, I have a lot of Cancer in important placements so even though this moon rubs me the wrong way, I connect to it too. It can be a little whiny but I understand whiny in small doses lol

Scorpio moons are awesome, I have a lot of respect for them (most of them anyway). They are like a fellow Mars moon really as well, in a way.

In truth, I have no problem really with water moons....I'm not too fond of Cappy moons though, I tend to butt heads with them.

My favorite moon is Taurus. I adore those moons. My Mars and rising is in Taurus but even so, I just think Taurus moon is the most sensual, comforting, amazing moon ever

All in all I would say how mature a person is and how they handle their moon is sometimes what makes allllll the difference , you know?

I am lunar aries...

Impulsive, straight forward, sensitive, love water signs (but I have a lot in water), easily frustrated if things don't happen quickly, very loyal and faithful, can go either way if relationship doesnt go as I want... Either fight tooth and nail or drop it like a hot potato. I do have much more energy than most partners though.

I wish I knew how to bold text, but I definitely agree with the first part of your post.

I have known her for eight years and I have seen her enter into relationships quickly and then end them just as quickly. This particular "trait" about her had me worried, because I am a methodical in my relationships. I am about effort and planning, but I can be spontaneous. I have to wonder if it's enough?

On the other hand she is pretty reserved for someone with Leo Sun/Aries moon aside from the constant "need" to feel "wanted" and her urge to start a relationship quickly.

I want take things slow (Virgo Sun/Capricorn rising) with her and we have made things official, but on terms we can both agree through extensive communication.

She's pretty straight forward about everything I noticed and she pays close attention to everything I say and do.(Virgo Mercury/Venus/Mars). She's not shy about asking for help with me or questions that even she herself deem "stupid" but to me I enjoy the honesty and I don't believe it is stupid at all.

Her honesty makes the earthy part of me feel comfortable. I don't have to play any guessing games with her emotions and I hate the silent treatment, so her being very vocal about her concerns is a plus too.

On the aspect of me being a Pisces Moon and her being an Aries Moon. Well I agree I am indecisive, it's rare that I take the leader role and make the big decisions without the other person's perspective, but I do try to make sound decisions with knowing what I know and what the other person knows.

As for my emotions, I've come to accept I am a highly sensitive person. I don't have that thick skin like most do, but I've developed a wicked sense of humor to buff such pains out and she knows this.

I've been emotional in front of her, we've been in each others lives for eight years, so she has seen all sides of me and I've seen all sides of her.

Thank you very much, this is definitely the icebreaker I need for this thread. I feel much more comfortable to reveal more.

^ she must be reserved bc of the virgo placements, I can be pretty private and I'm a virgo too. Not really terribly shy or anything, but just not an open book. Cos it's pretty much fact that most virgos are quite reluctant to show to much of themselves and are somewhat wary lol.

I think she'll be pretty loyal, seeing her placements! I think you guys will be a good match, do you have an fire in you? Or air?

I've noticed that she's very subtle in her ways of affection compared to me. She may give a peck on the cheek or lips. Hold my hand or sit in my lap or put her head on my shoulder. I tend to be very physical, but I want to respect her boundaries and not get caught up in the physicalities of our relationship.

Also another reason for her being withdrawn might be a on a macro-level reason as to being both women living in the bible belt. Which I completely understand, this is her first time and my second time, plus I am friends with openly gay couples. I have a bit of experience and knowledge in my court that makes me more comfortable with PDA or having affections towards another woman.

She likes to have fun and so do I, we are both curious regardless of us both being shy or reserved. We tend to embrace one another in our adventures and have an unspoken bond and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I don't know if this makes sense or not, but I feel people "try" to force being fun for the sake of being interesting or some other ulterior motive, but with her it's different..it feels natural like she's not trying "hard" to be interesting, she just is and I love that about her.

For example we are taking a trip to an amusement park over spring break and she is terrified of heights and I am a roller coaster junkie and thrill-seeker, she told me "You know heights scare the hell out of me, so you better hold my hand tight..also I can't promise I won't hurl on you."

She virtually has no air or water in her chart except the 12th house. I am a firey and earthy like her except I have a Pisces Moon. Her moon is in my fourth house and my moon is in her seventh house.

We gel due to the rest of our charts I think, but I was very curious about our incompatible moons. I do agree that Aries is not comfortable in the Moon position, she seems to get rattled up easily, but like you I think she finds release in her medium, writing.

She's subtle and kinda withdrawn cos she has virgo in her! Lol we're actually very passionate people, but we have a shell you got to break open first. We usually have our defenses up, but once you finally break through (which will actually take a while) we're very loving, very passionate and just everything you would want!

Is she a leo and virgo cusp? They're supposedly really loyal, creative, flamboyant but at the same time analytical and private people. Sounds like a nice mix actually!

This sums her up quite nicely. She doesn't lay it all out there and I think with her ex (Gemini) he didn't have the patience for that and I am a Virgo with Capricorn rising so patience is not a problem for me. I like a slow and enjoyably read in a relationship.

From what I know she's very loyal to the end, but easily hurt and disappointed in others. She's been hurt a lot, which made me reluctant to share my feelings with her with the risk of being her being hurt again.

The weird part is have Leo (Her sunsign) where she has Virgo (My sunsign), except we both have Virgo Mars just in different houses: Mine's in the 9th her is the 1st.

I always get guessed a Leo though, she actually thought for the longest I was another Leo lol.

Okays I will answer further comments tomorrow, but I'm thankful for all the input. I'm starting to get you spunky Aries Moon people.

Maybe post your synastry, for a better idea. Regardless of how we describe ourselves, in the end when it comes down to the subject of relationship, how you two interact is the bottom line.

My boyfriend is an Aries moon, in 5th natally. He is basically what Mintgirl summed up to be..child-like (in a sense that he is playful). We always have a fun time together, laughing, joking, like kids! It's good to be able to let loose like that with someone you care about. As for the blowing up part he controls it very well..just like alot of things he controls about himself and his feelings (His Sun Conj Saturn in Scorp). I can sense the intensity and how upset he is so I usually just back off.

Like Mintgirl's situation, he said "I love you" way too fast (or atleast too fast for me), I'm not sure about the proposing part though haven't gotten up to that point yet.

There were bumps along our relationship and everytime it feels like I'm about to leave or take a break he stops me. The first time when I ignored him cuz I was so upset, he kept texting me and calling me until I picked up (Ya, definitely NOT the type to give up easily) and the second time he just tugged onto me and begged me not to go.

Although he is an Aries moon, he's definitely NOT the type of person to talk about feelings...it's just awkward for him, mainly cuz he has this internal battle with himself. But at times I do feel it come out. He is a Scorpio sun and Sag Venus.

I'm also a Libra Moon and his moon is opposite my sun in Libra and it's a tight orb.

PS - He loves to be mothered. Any one with Aries moon feel that way too??

My mom is an Aries Moon (Sagittarius Sun). I have a good relationship with her, and I think I've experienced the positives of this placement.

Positives: Self-sufficient, decisive, loyal, adventurous, resourceful. She was kind of the "wild child" of her family of origin - although her family was very conservative Catholics, so a lot of her "wildness" would look pretty normal by most people's standards, lol. She avoided the traditional housewife route and has worked outside the home since she left college, because she never wanted to be financially dependent on my dad or any man. (Partially because of her parents' marriage, where my grandmother was totally dependent financially on my grandfather.) She also recognized bad patterns from her family of origin and made sure not to repeat them. In other words, she is not afraid to challenge herself and grow. She had a competitive relationship with her older sister, so she raised her two daughters (my sister and me) not to compete with each other. My sister and I are good friends to this day.

Negatives: Can be self-centered (of the "oblivious to something until it affects me personally" variety), impulsive, a little emotionally shallow and brusque, unfocused. I feel bad listing her negative traits to be honest, since she's all-around a pretty great mom.

I'm also a fire moon so I can't give much help with the water moon question. Although I am a water sun (Scorpio), for whatever that may be worth.
