In what house do you read a planet when it sits right on the line between two houses? Thanks.

Thanks for the help. So you read a trine as in sign, for example, and don't count it as a trine out of sign, even if it is by degrees?

I mean, their moon is right on the line of my 4th and 5th, and those houses both fall at least partly in Sag for me. Does that make sense?

If it sits right on the cusp, it means it's in the next house, in your case, the 5th. Generally a planet which is about 5° away from a cusp, is interpreted in the next house, but it still has the characteristics of the house it's actually in.

Even if it's at the very edge of one house, it's still in that house.

That's just me, though.

Well,I have read that when a planet is in the last degrees of the house say 29 degs,it is to be read as if its in the next house but sign-wise it will only show the characteristics of the sign it is in even if its in the last deg.In fact,Astro.com says that any planet placed in the last 29 to 30 degs of a house should be read as the next house placement.

Actually that explains why a Venus semisq Pluto feels like a trine too. The Pluto is almost in the next sign. That was always very puzzling. Thanks!
