What aspects can bring a couple together that most people find odd or Incompatible?

Optional: For instance, a girl who's crushing on a guy that is completely out of her ledge. He's outgoing and girls adore him while she is a shy, loner.
However, she gets along with her crush very well, and he even gave her small hints that he might feel the same. If they were to get together, looking at there chart how would they turn out as a couple?

GIRL Inside ---- GUY Outside (birthtime unknown)

Sun trine Mercury
Mars trine Mercury
Pluto trine Mercury
Ascendant trine Mercury
Moon trine Mars
Moon opposite Venus
Venus sextile Sun
Venus square Mars
Venus conjunct Jupiter
Venus conjunct Saturn
Chiron conjunct Sun
All these aspects are in a tight orb (0-3 degs)

“girl who's crushing on a guy that is completely out of her ledge. He's outgoing and girls adore him while she is a shy, loner.”

Just because he may be more social and outgoing then her does not mean that he is ‘better’. Western culture has a tendency to place stronger value on those characteristics traditionally considered masculine… like being outgoing and aggressive… as opposed to the more traditionally feminine characteristics… like being shy and gentle… however this is just the prevailing social perspective in most Western cultures right now, it’s a trend, and it has noting to do with the objective truth of our value as a person… I remember reading somewhere that a lot of Asian cultures actually consider it ‘better’ if one is quiet and self contained…

I guess my point is that personality differences don’t make someone ‘out of your league’ … we don’t have to pervert our personalities into some forced unnatural state just to be worthy of love… there are many different kinds of people out there and we all have different tastes and preferences…. And some actually do prefer a low-key mate, so don’t undervalue yourself….

I, myself, tend to be rather reserved and a bit of a loner…. And I’ve had many outgoing, attractive guys look my way, pursue me and flirt… and I’ve never doubted weather or not I’m ‘worthy’ of this attention or if I‘m in their ‘league‘… I just naturally understand that they may simply be attracted to the things about me that are different from themselves, and I have faith in my own value as a women (even if I’m not perfect). Being shy or not doesn’t make you better of worse that anyone else in terms of league…

That being said… I can see how he holds quite an appeal to you with his planets falling into both you 5th (romance/infatuation) and 7th houses (partnership/liking)… and your Sun conjunct his Asc is a very strong bonding tie… it gives some basic common ground in terms of your perspectives on the world….

I recommend posting both of your individual charts if you want a more detailed analysis…those combined charts don’t show the degrees of the planets, so it’s harder to interpret the synastry…

I always think - when two people who seem very different love each other... whatever 'differences' they seem to have.. are very surface ones.

quote:
that most people find odd or Incompatible?

If those 'people' knew them really well - they would probably spot the similarities in their personalities.

Maybe it's a matter of having clashing AC signs?
A couple might have good synastry otherwise.. but socially they might just come across very differently. Can you find out his AC somehow?
You have a Pisces AC which is naturally on the shy-side.. Maybe his AC is Gemini or Sag?

quote:
personality differences don’t make someone ‘out of your league’

I've always thought that 'out of your league' stuff is weird, anyway. To me everyone is equal and there's no such thing as someone being too good for someone else for whatever reason, whether they're smarter, more attractive, have more money, so on and so forth.

Plus - you're the only person I've ever heard attach a value judgment to how outgoing someone is or isn't. Most people really don't give a hoot whether someone is outgoing or shy. I've never heard someone say "I don't like him/her, they're too shy" or "I don't like them cuz they're too outgoing". Even when I was in high school - and you know teenagers can be absolutely brutal about just about everything - I never heard another 16 year old say something like 'so and so s.ucks because they're shy' or 'I hate Tom because he's too outgoing and talkative'.

I've noticed that the general rule of thumb is that as long as you treat people the way you want to be treated, no one will mistreat you or have a problem with you, no matter what your level of extroversion is. In a nutshell, if you're a jerk then yeah, people will ostracize you and talk bad about you and never want anything to do with you, and that has nothing to do with whether you're shy or not.

That aside and on to the astrology -

There's good things there, but there's enough there that has the potential to be bad that I'd tread carefully. I'm not saying DON'T get involved, just go slow and know what you're getting into.

I say this specifically because of the Venus-Saturn aspect, and the sun-chiron one. This is either gonna play out really positively or really badly. Remember Chiron is wounding. Venus-Saturn can be a good thing and mean you feel tied to one another in a good way, in terms of committing to one another, but I've also read not-so-good things associated with Venus-Saturn.

The Sun-Uranus thing has me doing the headscratch, too... but hopefully I'm wrong and next year you'll be posting on here that you're getting married or something LOL.

Me too. I tend to be fairly quiet and reserved, and I've had a lot of extrovert men who like that because they think it's a challenge to "figure me out" or whatever. Also, when we go out in social situations, he doesn't have to worry about me upstaging him, lol.

I actually think the biggest hurdle mentioned in the OP is one partner thinking the other is "out of my league." That kind of insecurity can be quietly toxic to a relationship. I dated a guy who had that attitude towards me, and it meant that we could never communicate honestly because he took everything as a sign that I was dissatisfied with him or wanted to leave.

What about inter-racial and inter-cultural couples? There are lots of Caucasian men with Asian women or Amer-Asian women. There aren't many Asian men with Caucasian women, and I got myself a full blown Southerner.

Trouble is, I need help identifying the astrology aspects. Does Venus Conjunct Uranus in Synastry speak to this? My charts are in the thread "Help me with synastry". Thank you.

I agree with you completely, but sadly the girls he hangs out with will surely bring conflict if they found out. And thats where the insercurties really come in to play. Girls nowadays are so competitive when it comes to guys.
