I have tNN approaching my nNN Sag 3rd house....
It's actually in a wide conj right now.

Wondering what to expect as the orb tightens.
What were your experiences?

It's your Nodal Return the wheels of Destiny are now in motion. Google it.

tNN was conjuncting my natal NN at 4 Pisces in October/November 2007 for several weeks. It was exactly the time when I met a man and started an important an intense relationship with him - it was really very (!) intense and lasted 1.5 years - and, unfortunately, turned out to be the most horrible relationship I ever had. Pure torture on the emotional/psychological level - and for both sides! (Obsession, jealousy, manipulation, sadistic mindgames ... with him more or less on the "active" side and I am more or less the "victim")

BUT: This man and I we had a very intense Snyastry as well (My Pluto cj. his Venus / his ASC cj. my MC / my BM Lilith cj his Sun, etc.)

AND: His Vertex is exactly conjunct my NN!!! So, tNN did not only conjunct my NN, but also his Vertex at this time. Guess we both had some karmic "homework" to do ... and t NN triggered that ... and it was very painful for both of us and took a long time and much work to get over that experience and to make peace with it (in my heart & mind). In fact, it was a very draining experience - definitely intense!

I made a mistake... I didn't realize NN goes the opposite direction, so as I thought it was approaching, it was actually leaving...

Looks like I already experienced the Nodal Return this summer...

Tons happened and relationship-wise it was AWFUL, but career-wise I would say that some important things happened which will probably change my life. Another thing that happened was that I started studying Astrology more seriously.

So, I have a feeling that this will be looked back at as an important life changing time... many things did not feel good at all.

Wheels of destiny sounds way too dramatic.

Usually the first nodal return signifies becoming an adult and going off to college, at least in the modernized world.

Well, I am not going to disagree with any of the events not being destiny or karmic, because they actually feel like they are... none of them seem to have fully played out during that period however, but they all started during that period.

Appleberry, understood.

I'm just going to put that link up there for anyone else who might be wondering.

The first nodal return happens during the 19th year. Everyone goes through it.

that is when I met my ex scorpio ......my vertex conjuncts his northnode tightly...that relationship changed me and I was never the same since. It was love at first sight or extreme familiarity, attraction and comfort at first sight LOL...so right on!

T northnode for me is conjuncting my ascendent and southnode right now, ascendent by 1 orb and southnode by 5 orbs.

I did meet someone this year who my southnode has a number of contacts to his chart such as saturn, venus and his 12th cusp who has been significant meeting and his vertex conjuncts exact my karma and venus and by one orb mars.

Edit:

Capri I checked out the link........thanks for the link. I am 28 years old so I am going through my counter nothnode return and is right on and so was the counter northnode return that happens at the age of 10 years as this is when I moved from the dominican republic to the united states and this was a huge change in my life that transformed me...I feel it was the beginning of losing my innocence...and now at 28 it feels like I been asked/demanded to enter maturity, I got married this year at 27 years and now it looks like more adult responsibilities are knocking on my door that will lead to tremendous transformation of myself and my life.

The stars really do align at major crossroads that lead to major transformation in your life.

Yes, I think I need to look more into NN and SN for important events in my past.

Should I only concern myself with conjunctions and oppositions?

I guess some people have more fateful lives than others. My first Nodal Return changed my entire life and I'm still reaping the effects.
