I do not like this in a romantic person but a friend would be fine. I find it very hard to take in a guy.

This is my natal position and I guess the 'do it already' only means something when you're up against someone who is more assertive than a mars in libra can be. I have always been very good at taking action and several people with mars in 'lesser' action-oriented signs (ie pisces) see me as too forward and quick to act. IP: Logged |

I usually really like them and there is also a mutual attraction. I don't think it's bad at all. They're HOT!
Scorpio, Leo and Libra Mars - are my favourites. They are assertive in my experience!
The reason Libra is the detriment sign for Mars.. is because Libra is centered on OTHER people.. whereas Aries is self-centered.. and Mars is a place to be self-centered. But the detriment does not mean they can't assert themselves imo
They can be very assertive on behalf of someone else.. (as a lawyer for example)... but may not be that good at defending themselves. They can also be assertive about pursuing a relationship because they desire a partner.. These people are usually not after a fling. The detriment problem is that they are not very assertive about getting their own needs met in the relationship. It's all about the partner's needs! IP: Logged |

You are so, so spot on! Mars in Libra, from my experience (and other aspects in my chart) is very much about other and forgetting my own needs in the relationship, friendship/romantic--whatever. And since I am Sagging (aka, lots of Sagittarian placements) that doesn't help, because I like seeing everyone happy and free all the time! :-D I can be assertive and when I 'truly' want something, I will get it (mars conjunct pluto), but will do my best not to ruin/harm anyone else in the process. Thus far in my life, I have been very good at defending (and pleasing) other people. Thanks to the whammy pluto is doing on my life, I have been placed in scenarios where that MUST change--for the better. Mars in Libra wants to be fair...all the time, no matter what, and they tend (I mean, we tend, lol) to pay attention to the needs/wants/desires of 'other(s)' wayyyy too much. :-)

I say this as a Libra Mars conj Saturn, so I'm in control of my game, but the other Libra Mars, I am like a drill sergeant with them, keeping them in check (!)
I have to keep saying 'you figure out what you want, because I've already decided so I will be over here.' When they want what I want just because I want it, I lose serious respect for them. And who cares if I don't like the mushy-gushy song that's on the radio just because they do (!) I'm not playing their game, I'm not gonna change what music I like to suit them lol.
 And yes Venus is in Cap so I attract them.
But-but-but we can be v.charming and romantical and I like that about me (and them) so it's all about taking the bad with the good until the bad outweighs the good.IP: Logged |

Remind me never to listen to a radio around you! I'd have to change it to something you like, I wouldn't be able not to... especially if I was listening to something I knew you didn't like. It'd drive me insane to not change it. INSANE!

^ My policy with the radio is that the person driving gets to choose the station/playlist cos they are in charge of the vehicle. So if they want the windows down and my hair gets all you-know-what-UP then so be it. As long as the driver is happy I am happy because I do not want to die in a crash lol.
