i was thinking to myself the other day. maybe we can compile a manual, like a list of questions you can ask someone you barly know and according to his/her answers get a good "well educated" guess what their sun sign is..now to all you astro pros, would it be easier to guess the sun sign, or just chart dominance? we can sort the questions under categories, the first would be to guess the person's element then maybe try to guess if they're cardinals, Mutable, Fixed... I think there are quizzes online so maybe you could use those to help you get an idea about what kinds of questions? I think it would be difficult to guess someone's SUN SIGN specifically, though. Some people don't identify with their Sun Signs at all, because they have stronger signs in their chart.IP: Logged |

i think you kinda have a point there, but i think most people identify with their sun signs but feel there is something missing. IP: Logged |

The Sun represents just a small part of who we are. Unless the Sun shares the same sign with the other personal planets, he is pretty pretty small in significance. My example. I am Cancer sign. But my Mercury is in Leo, Moon and Venus in Virgo, Mars in Capricorn, Uranus and Saturn in Sagittarius. My ascendant is in Scorpio. I should be oversensitive but I'm not. I'm not a romantic person nor a person who lives only on being in relationship with someone. I'm very indepedent, I love my freedom and I don't see myself as a housewife. My chart is 80% fire element and my dominant sign in Sagittarius.IP: Logged |

I have had success guessing sun signs, but it's usually certain signs in particular that I can tell because they always sort of rub me the same way (i.e. Pisceans confuse me and I get an ethereal, otherworldly vibe from them, Leo (women) tend to command my respect for their courage in social situations and the men tend to appear to me as "gorgeous empty skulls" as a first impression, Sagittarius men and I instantly "click," and Aqua women are always smiling so I tend to befriend them rather quickly since I'm the same. Also I can usually identify them by their square jaw but if they're lacking the Aqua female trait then it's harder for me to tell).Geminis I sometimes confuse with Leo women but basically they're chatty (though not necessarily fast talkers, just talk-talkers, lol), and Capricorn women are typically impeccably dressed and seem very "together." Actually, I can usually tell Cappy men OR women by the fact that they are wealthier than everyone else I know. Cancer men I can usually identify by the fact that they are drawn to me like a moth to a flame and despite the fact that they are all uniformly very nice guys I seem to always have platonic feelings towards them - every. single. time. So I can actually tell a Cancer man by the simple fact of a nice guy approaching me who I immediately put in the friend zone, inexplicable to even me. Virgos I am starting to be able to recognize, not quite there yet. I would be down for something like this, sure The only problem that I can foresee is that, like I said, people tend to identify sun signs differently; for me, I intuit the sign by how that sign tends to respond in reaction to ME, the cues would be different for someone else with different placements. Chart dominance. What you're writing about sounds to me like the Myers-Briggs personality types, in a way.IP: Logged |

I've read an interview with a singer and he was asked to share some of his qualities/flaws. I know, it's cheesy. And he said: Qualities: meticulous, objective, perfectionist. Flaw (huh, I guess he has only one that matters): too critical. At this point I was pretty sure he was a Virgo. And I looked him up and yeah he had a stellium (including Sun) in Virgo. IP: Logged |

I can't believe how accurate this was. "The Aquarian fights best with his hat. He puts it on and leaves." LOL! EXPOSED!

You find yourself becoming MORE argumentative? I hate confrontation and conflict. I guess I am a true Aquarian. When my boyfriend wants to fight I go for a walk.

All of the medical/health concerns listed were accurate as well, for me. Down to the letter. I think Linda must have been psychic.

i was thinking some basic questions that can give you at least a hunch at what the sun sign might be..no matter how different or complex their whole chart may be the Sun always leaves a remarkable trace.. Linda would have been perfect for this.. i dont want clues, or behavioral patterns that suggest, i want interactive questions we can ask someone and that might help us makea good guess.. for example asking people how they react in confrontational situations, or How people view them... c'mon guys any suggestios?
