I always thought this would mean that the person whose Sun is un-aspected is unable to connect with the other person - and things simply wouldn't work out.

I find it really strange that - there is this Scorpio guy who has his Sun at 29 Scorpio.. (no major aspects to my chart)... but he is so strongly into me. I don't get it. I feel a lot of familiarity around him as well. His Moon is trine my Sun - maybe that's why.

But still!!!

An unaspected Sun - How bad is it?

If you had this in synastry - let me know how things worked out for you!

How do your planest affect his houses? Maybe your mars hits his 5th or 8th house?

My ex husband sun was unexpected.. We were together 15 years married for 13.. He still wants to get back together.... Our synastry is just blah.. Not to much going on..
but his.aries moon trines my leo stellium.. His moon is the only aspect to.my sun, moon, mercury.
I think venus, saturn and moon saturn is what kept us together.

It's not an absolute but chances are that sun unaspected even with fairly wide orbs two people will not have long term viability.

Sun is the essence of the self and acts like your day force

The moon is your night force.

So I suppose a vampire could survive without the sun and would be channled by his/her moon, but now we're just venturing into silly theorheticals.

Sun unaspected means that the other party basically has no sense of your ego.

LOL @ the vampire thing. In the synastry between my bffsie and I, her Sun is unaspected. I don't think it causes much of any problems ahahahaha. About the not getting her ego thing though...hmm...maybe, 'cause I'm not sure how well of a grasp I have on her ego. I dunno, that's kinda deep thinking there which was never my thing.

in my case moon is more important. i have noticed that if moon is not touched i dont get connected, but i have three planets in cancer including sun-mars-venus. moon become very important planet in my chart

maybe his sun is not strong in his chart?

I felt like I wasn't seen for who I am, like he couldn't relate to me on that level so wat was the point, he also hardly had any Water in the chart (no Water *at all* in the personal placements) which made it seem like even more of a distance (my Sun's element) and zero Fire which is my ASC element. Talk about feeling semi-stranded. My Sun conj his IC, sq his NN, that's it. But then Sun is big for me since it's ASC ruler and in the 8th so it relates to sexual attraction for me too. And we had practically zero sexual attraction aspects. Nevertheless I ended up breaking his heart. What we did have was Moon connections up the wazoo and conj stelliums, and my other stellium filled in a point in his chart to turn it into a grand trine, his Sun and Moon conj my DSC.

Here are the conjunctions,
Me to him,
Sun conj IC
DSC conj Sun
DSC conj Moon
Moon conj Sun
Moon conj Moon
Moon conj Merc
Merc conj Moon
Merc conj Venus
Venus conj Merc
Venus conj Moon

^ and even with all of those it was the lack of connection to my Sun/ASC elements (and obv the lack of aspects to my Sun too) that led me to think, often, who the heck is this guy and what is he seeing between us that I'm not. Don't get me wrong, I was in love with the guy for a few yrs, we were both smitten with each other from the beginning. He wanted to marry me, have kids with me and he always thought of himself as a bachelor, I completely changed his mind on that issue. Then eventually the thought rising more and more 'will he ever see me for me.' Now he hates my ass because I left him. I guess he'll never feel neutral toward me, I still love him but I need more than that apparently. And I'm OK with the non-symbiotic attachments now lol. Tho it was NICE for a while. Oh and we had some evil Mercury synastry.

So you have Pisces Mercury, Scorp Pluto, Cancer ASC. What other watery things for this Scorpio?
And do you have the tob or could he possibly be SAGITTARIUS>?

How do you feel about him?

Do you feel something is missing not being able to feel his Sun?

in the synastry I think how the planets are placed in the houses of each other is more important than the signs of the planets and how they aspected ... It's true that you won't be aware of each other's ego/presence with an un-aspected sun ... But if you have your sun in his first house and he has his in your first ( it doesn't have to go both ways ... One is enough since it will be mutual, according to cafeastrology ) you will eventually understand him, his ego and definitly will sense his presence ... See how that plays ?

An Ex and I have an unaspected venus in the composite chart.

People saw us as the perfect couple and no one ever doubted that we loved each other.

I got alot of "maybe you two don't feel loved/its not a loving relationship/the relationship is not about love" answers, but it is the complete opposite.

Thanks so much for answering this guys! I like the mix of reposes I got

Ann -

Unfortunately I don't have his AC... But I am trying to find out asap.

Lioness -

Interesting! We do have Saturn conj Saturn.. and trine my Sun.. and we also have Venus-Pluto conj and other things that look pretty good for longevity.

Thefish -

That is hilarious because he actually *looks* like a vampire .. and the other day when I was surprised he didn't see a certain movie.. he said: "you must think I'm from a different century".. LOL
O_O spooky... I think you're on to something here haha

RedScorp -

YaY! There's hope!!

Nordic -

I'll post his chart tomorrow!

This is so strange because this was my initial reaction ^ - but it is his own Sun that is un-aspected.. and he is the one who is into me. I do find him attractive though -- I just didn't get such a strong initial feeling - as he seems to have. That might be my Pluto on his Venus?
We have Venus sextile Mars DW.. I feel like we could have chemistry sexually.. There is 'something' there...

quote:
So you have Pisces Mercury, Scorp Pluto, Cancer ASC. What other watery things for this Scorpio?

My Jupiter is in Pisces as well (and MC). My Jupiter trines my Pluto - so it also trines his Venus. And I have Sun/Venus & Mars in aspect to Neptune.
I think he is attracted to my Capricorn Moon/Cancer AC combination -- even though it is not in aspect to his Scorpio Sun.

We do have a close quincunx, if this counts... between his Sun and my Venus/NN (which is at 0' Taurus).

quote:
And do you have the tob or could he possibly be SAGITTARIUS>?

I met him three weeks ago and I only added him to FB the other day... Before I'd known his dob - I guessed him to be a Scorpio! That's the ONLY sign I guessed.
It's possible that his Sun is in Sag, as I don't have his TOB - but I just don't see it. He seems so much like Scorpio to me.
He does like travel... but he has Saturn & Uranus in Sag - like myself (and I also like travel)... Maybe this is more about houses etc.. But he is very intense and he has Scorpionic eyes... Sagittarius is more light hearted.

Also - what's weird is that he reminds me of an actor who is also a Scorpio and who happens to have the same surname as him (it is not a very common surname).
& Many of his friends, including his best friend are Virgos... Sag is square Virgo.. I just think it makes more sense for him to be a Scorpio.

Wild-flower -

We have chemistry so I like him!!
It's just that I would not have personally noticed him.. if he didn't notice me and if he didn't approach me.
Once he approached me I felt like we do have an interesting connection happening. But I can't say I feel as strongly about him, as he seems to feel about me.

yeah.... I wish I had his TOB!
His Sun is either in my 5th (in equal) or 6th (in placidus)!

5th sounds good for romance.. but 6th - not so much!

It might be different in the composite. My grandparents were together their whole lives - and in composite they have an un-aspected Saturn!
Maybe in the composite it acts like an un-aspected planet in natal... kinda like it is more emphasised...?

I cant really say what made it to longevity. It was probably a more of its the right thing to do..
Maybe part of the difference is, he is a virgo sun.. My Leo stellium is in H6 (the natural virgo house)Also my Dsc in Virgo.

He has Venus/Mars in Leo so Yeah that helped.. LOL
