quote: Venus Quincunx (Inconjunct) SaturnYou have difficulty seeing what you are actually responsible for in relationships. Consequently, you take on more responsibilities than necessary in order to insure the continuation of your relationships. Do people like you for you or because of what you do for them? You are easily confused on this point. If you are busy doing things for people, they never get a chance to know the real you.
Do you relate? And if you're past this, how did you get there.

Being a minor aspect, yes, not as harsh as square/opposition.I have Pluto/Mars quincunx - You know how Mars wants to rage on in battle and Pluto wants to plan and outplay? But it is still the war, both of them are machines, and they are force incarnated? You see how difficult is to make them work together. Saturn and Venus are alike : when Libra connects them, love, justice, relating, beauty and proportion, but the planets themselves are not what you may call buddies. Venus favours expression,Saturn is dour and suspicious, restricting. Then the signs that they occupy make them more like in my example : on the same side, just can't collaborate, can't recognise each other. So a quincunx is not like square battlefield or opposition wrestle but rather a tad confusing, uncompromising yet intriguing ride. I also like the connections between signs in inconjunction : what if a me-centric Leo starts to care for Pisces' all-caring ideas,or Pisces start to accept things like Libra: with touch of compromise and tact, bit of game and iron fist. Thanks you 2, Venus your comment made me think of incorporating the signs for better help here. For example the person I'm thinking of is Saturn Gem, Venus Cap, both 27 deg. So he's openly stated he struggles with loneliness, has been divorced once. Taking into acct his Saturn Gem, his words can come across as harsh, even his actual voice, and he's disparaging against certain societal norms that he views as foolish, taking people away from a more authentic life/way of being. But then there's the Venus Cap which basically wants to go for security and part of that security is falling in line with society since Cap wants social approval. So there's a rub there. This is just putting what I know from him to his astro influences. But this is from the outside, so was curious about someone who has it, how they experience it on the inside. IP: Logged |

Not to hijack the thread, but I've wondered about the quincunx for awhile, now, too. Your description was beautiful, VenusDiSirius!I have Moon at 25 Pisces, quincunx Pluto at 26 Libra. Not even sure what to think about that. Pluto is the least personal planet, while the Moon is the most personal, right? Is it like Pisces daydreaming conflicts with Libra creating something lovely...? ------------------ I can help you figure out your dreams, and guide you in how to use them to transform your life. www.sleepingrealities.com Follow me on Facebook! facebook.com/sleepingrealities Follow my blog! http://sleepingrealities.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

^ Could be refined vs raw. To go after sentiment with fine heart or teeth Oh,I see now... Gemini with its free-loving intellectual side vs Cap devoted, secure. So,his Venus wants to relate ,Saturn knows there is time for everything, and settling at one point is within the norms,Cap energy comes from Sat,so if we look at it mathematically it's 3-1 in favour of security. But,strong Saturn people can work out solitude well, the hard part is relating to other people once you've been alone for some time. For him it seems that he wants the company and this is the big picture. While Venus encourages him,Saturn wants him to be outside, observing the "party" for some time, not really interact.

Yes, thank you VenusDiSirius from me too, that was very insightful! I have this too Venus(Pisces) inconjunct Saturn(Libra). =)I also have a link saved in my bookmarks about Venus-Saturn hard aspects(including quincunx) that i read some time ago. It really resonated with me. I liked this in particular lol : The positive side of a Venus-Saturn aspect is that they don’t get older–they get better. Late bloomers, they may have been plain, awkward teenagers but suddenly become beauties in their 30s or 40s. Nor do they age as harshly as other folks—they may look years younger than their peers. Their popularity improves with age, too—seriousness doesn’t endear adolescents to their peers but is expected of the middle-aged and older. They build a support group of significant others over time, and these connections tend to be long-lasting. http://skywriter.wordpress.com/2009/06/07/venus-saturn-aspects%E2%80%94waiting-for-love/ =) IP: Logged | |
